Chapther 20

Previously on Fairy Tail...

Fairy Tail has been reunited with Juvia. And she defeat the fire fox all on her own, but Juvia lost her memory! Will Juvia regain her memory before it it's too late?

~Amnesia~

Juvia awaken by the sound of the curtain being pulled back as the sounds of metal grind against the rod. A tall dark figure stood in the distance as he pulled the curtain and the lights flickered on.

Juvia sat up and came to the realization she was in some sort of infirmary.

Gray stood in the distance pulling the curtain back, leaving them alone together.

"You've slept for hours..." Gray began. He stood which his hands in his pant pockets.

"Uh, Oh..." Juvia looked down.

"So, how are you feeling?" Gray ask sitting on the bed next to her; trying to be more of a concern friend.

"Feel?...I...uh...feel..." Juvia looked down and search for the right words to say but at all honestly she felt; nothing. What's another word for nothing?-

"Numb." The word spat out like vomit and Juvia had no control over. Was this a normal feeling for me? She wondered.

Gray looked down almost with anger, but instead of letting out a,"tsk" and walking away he tried something different. He turned to her a gave a half smile and said,"well at least you're color is back." He told her.

Her skin and as well as her hair color returned back to its original state. But the dark circles and the small scraps remained. She looked down and noticed a needle that was taped on her arm. The needle was attached to a tube that looped up into a bag that hang onto a metal pole,"what is this?" She said unaware she said it out loud.

"That's an IV." Gray began,"that IV consist of water, that'll help regain your energy."

"Why would I need water to regain my energy?" Juvia wondered.

"...because You are a water Mage after all..." Gray paused.

"I am?" Juvia questioned titling her hand a bit.

Gray nodded,"you are a very strong water Mage in fact...your body is made completely of water." Gray told her.

"Water?" Juvia question as she stared down at her arm. Water...why can't I remember?

Juvia stared blankly has tears ran down her face. She felt the unfamiliar substance with her fingertips,"water."

She looked up to Gray,"...what are you to me?" Juvia felt a warm feeling in the pit of her stomach but she wasn't sure what to make of it.

Gray winced and slightly blushed as he tried to deny any of it,"Gah?-what no....?" He held his face red for a moment but the truth is that Juvia had no idea what he was embarrassed about and she asked him a straight forward question. Gray sighed and decided to tell he the truth of how she really was.

"Juvia." He began.

She looked up,"hm?"

"Your name is Juvia..." Gray said.

Suddenly that name felt all too familiar and she smiled and said,"yes that sounds right!"

"So you remember your name?" Gray asked.

"Not quit. I remember saying that a lot...did I ever-"

"You'd referred to yourself in the third person all the time." Gray said with a half annoyed look.

"I did?! Oh! I'm sorry..." She said looking down.

Gray looked surprised,"what are you apologizing for?"

"I assumed it must have bothered you..." Juvia said.

"Huh?....well....its just..." Gray searched for the right words,"that's what made you, Juvia."

She forced a smile but she felt a heavy whelming feeling that lingered in the pit of her stomach. Her stomach ached and she felt sick. But instead of showing this feeling she was content, and she shivered with weakness.

"Hey, you still have to rest, so take it easy...okay? I'm sure your memories will come back." Gray said with a smile.

Juvia looked up to him,"I suppose your right..."

With that Gray turned and left Juvia alone to sleep.

As she sleep soundlessly, she began to uncover her memories inside the dark cold and filthy tunnel. She remembered the awful smells and the taste of dried blood in her mouth. She can recall the weak sore state she was in and Juvia began to toss and turn. But she remembered the sick evil laugh of the man that bonded her to the table as he began cutting her and breaking her bones. She could remember all of it and she felt it all once again in the painful dream. Juvia began to feel sick with hatred and her heart blistered of betrayal as she remembered the face that haunted her dreams. Gray Fullbuster sneered a laugh with digits as he inched towards her with a melee.
Juvia heart raced and she then scream.

Juvia awaken in a pool of her own sweat. she breathed in heavily,"that was too vivid to be a dream..." she began. She began to stake with an utter cold crawling up her spine,"Gr...Gray...Graysama?! Why?!" She cried out. But her voice was the only thing that replied back. why?
