Juvia has decided to go on a job alone. Will her efforts help her in the long run or would she be defeated?

Now...

Juvia has travel on foot through the the dark mysterious forest of pine and oak, as she emerge and approached a cliff side. Juvia walked up and peered down at the small village, she has reached her destination at The Moon village.

The village was vast with dwellings made of pine and oak, which was destroyed. A river stream which once flowed softly between the village, was now raging waves. The village seemed quite, as villagers wondered around and picked up remains of homes.

"Juvia, must defeat the river monster." Juvia said sounding determine.

In the job description the village is in desperate help, and which all the damage being done they one have to reward the brave hero is two jewels. But Juvia wasn't in for the jewels, she plans to decline the reward and defeat the river monster all on her own.

Once Graysama notices how Powerful Juvia really is, maybe only then Gray will confess his love for me! Juvia fangirled.

"Juvia this isn't the time for daydreams, Juvia must defeat the monster...only question tho,where is it?" Juvia asked herself out loud walking down a pathway to the village.

"It dose not matter. Juvia IS water and whatever lurkers in the water, Juvia will find!" Juvia said standing her fighting position at the edge of the river.

"WATER SLICER!"

Meanwhile at the Guild.

Gray sat at the edge of the bar with his face leaning in his hand, shirtless like always. He has been sulking in the same place since his encounter with Juvia earlier that day, and many Fairy Tail members are all asking the same questions...What the hell is wrong with Gray?

"Something on your mind?" Mira asked as she wiped off a glass with her hand towel.

Gray, who was slight startled looked up at Mirajane who smiled gently.

He sighed then placing his head back on his hand, "That's the thing.." Gray began,"lately my mind has been nothing but empty."

"Oh?" Mira gave out a slight giggle.

"Hey, where did Juvia say she was going..?" Gray asked, almost as if the question has been on his mind this whole time.

"Oh, she took a job." Mira stated.

"It's not much of a job if you ask me..." Cana said sitting next to Gray. Cana who sat on the counter of the bar leaned on her barrel, looking laid back and almost careless.

"How so..?" Gray finally asked.

Cana gave out a burp, then turn to Gray,"Well, she's not doing it for the reward thats for sure..."

"Huh? That's stupid! Then why take the job in the first place?!" Gray said in an outburst.

"Hey Ice Queen!-Can ya keep it down, some people are tryna eat!" Natsu yelled with a mouth full of roast beef eyeing Gray across the Gulid.

"Ah, not this agian." Lucy titled her head back with as she gored in annoyance.

Happy giggled.

"Go eat outside like a dog!" Gray snapped.

"Oh that's it!" Natsu took the roast beef from his mouth and slammed it on the table as he jumped up and popped his hands,"I'm all fired up!"

"Hit me flame-brain!" Gray stood up and stood into his fighting postion.

"Halt!" Ezra stood her grounds.

"And just like that, the guid is back to normal!" Happy said while the guild broke out into a fight.

"You call this normal?!" Lucy exclaimed.

"Normal is right." Mirajane agreed.

Meanwhile...

Juvia was thrown against a tree as the river serpent slither up the tree and then around Juvia's body choking her. The villagers screamed and scattered away searching for shelter.

The 18 foot serpent squeezed the tree harder as the bark of tree cracked and began to brake. Juvia's body was being smothered.

Juvia reduced herself into the watery substance she is and as water usually do, she dissolved into the serpent very body. The serpent's very body began to flip and stretch violently. Juvia being inside the serpents body flung it side to side causing raging waving in the water just before the serpent gave out a final growl then falling limp into the river. Juvia in her water state slithered out of the aquatic being and regain her human form as she fell back with exhaustion.

"Juvia did it. Juvia as defeated the serpent. Juvia did not expect to take so long." Juvia said.

"That..."

Juvia looked down to see a young boy of twelve stared in awe, "Was awesome!" The boy exclaimed.

Juvia smiled gently at the boy and stood up and jump down from the giant snake.

An elderly man, the client approached her,"are you the women who took my job request?" He asked.

"Juvia apologize that we haven't made time to talked sooner, but after Juvia saw what this river monster has done to your precious village, Juvia could not wait much longer." Juvia explained.

"We appreciate all your efforts, please take these jewels as a reward." the elderly man reached into his pocket and pulled out two jewels.

"Oh no, Juvia dose not need a reward. Please keep your jewels to continue to rebuild your village." Juvia said.

"How kind you are miss!" The elderly man exclaimed with happiness.
The village people awed and cheered of Juvia's bravery.

"My oh my..." the elderly beamed,"miss Juvia, what Gulid do you hail from?" The elderly man asked.

"Juvia comes from Fairy Tail Gulid." Juvia beamed happily.

"We gives thanks for Juvia from Gulid of Fairy Tail!" The moon villagers cheered.

Juvia smiled relentlessly as she blushed and smiled with gratitude.

"Juvia must be going now." she stated,"goodbye moon village." Juvia waved as she walked away from the pleasant fellow villagers.

As she turned away she wasn't aware of the dark shadowy presence lurking in the distance.

"What a kind lil miss indeed"
