Dolores popped her head up and looked at you.

"Oh hey Y/n, I didn't know you would be here."

"Is everything ok? Shouldn't you be at the casita?"

You were sorta worried with why Dolores would be in the woods. Especially since her family is getting ready for your brother's proposal to Isabela.

"Oh yeah I'm fine." Dolores paused for a second. "No, I'm not actually."

"Y/n can I tell you something?" Dolores asked. You nodded.

"Well I'm in love with your brother. But he's supposed to marry my cousin Isabela. And it's not like I can compete with her. I mean she's perfect..." Dolores explain.

"Yeah...she is perfect..." You mumbled. But then you remembered it doesn't matter that you mumbled, Dolores can still hear you.

"Your in love with Isabela. Aren't you?" It was like she knew before now.

"Yeah, I am actually. But it's pointless. She wants to be with my brother." I pointed out.

"No, she doesn't want to marry him. She was going to marry him for the family. She wants to marry you actually." Dolores slapped a hand over her mouth when she realized what she said.

"What? Me? Marry me as in like a wedding?! Like being her wife?!" You exclaimed. There was no way that this was true. Someone as perfect and beautiful as her...marry someone like you? Impossible.

Dolores uncovered her mouth, "Well I heard her crying and saying that a few nights ago." Then she made the little squeak noise she always makes.

"So I have a chance?" There was no way this was real. So I'm not dreaming right now? Isabela actually wants to be your wife?! And she wants you to be hers?!

Dolores nodded, trying not to say anything else that she overheard.

"Wow" was all you could say.

Then you realized that what Dolores can either ruin everything or make things better.

It could make things better or worse for you and Isabela.
