Do you think that the murderer is thinking about the person's family? About all that the victim had, and all he wasn't done with yet?
Do you think the arsonist is thinking about that building? And all the priceless items he may have destroyed?
Do you think the Robber is thinking about the account owners? And how they will now be inconvenienced by their presence?
If they don't...
The family of the victim will. They will get so close to the root of the problem. A problem which they can never solve. They don't care as much as the others. The victim will forever be the only one who cares.
But instead of making the perpetrators care, they chain them up and train the people to fight.
Pick up a stick right now and try to beat up a tree. Obviously you picked a big stick even though you know it's inevitable and you will fail.
What is that called? That feeling of knowing you're doomed to fail but try your best anyways.
Is it hope?
Or is it desperation?
