The Chunin Exams PT 4

Y/n was running through the forest looking for creatures to hunt. While he was running he began to use his Sharingan to look for tracks in the ground.

Y/n:Nothing yet. But.....

He looked up and saw a broken branch. He jumped up to the tree and looked it over. The branch wasn't really broken it was cut cleanly.

Y/n:Hmm. Byakugan.

He looked around and saw some other genin there. But he also saw something huge in a valley over toward the ground but he couldn't see.

Y/n:Okay that's where I'm going.

He began running and feeling a sudden heat wave against him. He stopped and cleared his head before starting to run. When he got there there were bones and the ground was grey and dead. There wasn't a single part of the forest's vegetation around.

Y/n:Oh my gosh. What is this?

He wiped his brow from the beads of sweat that were flowing down his head. When he was running it kept getting hotter and hotter. Y/n began using ice style to keep his body cooler while he was running.

Y/n:Thanks Haku. Ice style really came in handy. Okay now what is this immense chakra?

He was approaching the chakra a massive wave of heat was melting his ice and pushing him back.

Y/n:Damn this is gonna be tricky. Byakugan!

He made his byakugan appear and held his hands out and a shield of chakra was blocking the area infront of him.

Y/n:This dojutsu is amazing. It helps me control my chakra at a better rate.

When he was running he stopped at a cave and felt that it was cooler in there.

Y/n:Ah much better.

He deactivated his byakugan and walks through the cave. While he was doing so he stepped on a branch and suddenly kicked to his right and heard a whine of a dog or wolf. He turned around and felt the chakra of a beast.

Y/n:These are wolves.

He smiled and takes out his kunai and surrounds them in wind chakra.

Y/n:Come on!

Back with the others Naruko felt her stomach was a bit sore.

Naruko:Man why does it still hurt.

Sakura:Are you sure you're eating right? That might be the reason.

Naruko:No I don't so those stupid diets that you others girls do.

Sakura:Wait seriously? You basically only eat ramen right?

Naruko:Yeah and whatever Y/n cooks.

Sakura:Man I'd never thought I'd say this but I'm jealous of her! How can she eat nothing but junk and still be so skinny?

Satsuki:Where'd Y/n go?

Naruko:He went to go explore. He said something about early training. I wish he'd take me training soon though.

Sakura:Are you sure it's okay for him to go out like that? This is the forest of death after all.

Satsuki:He'll be fine. He's stronger than all of us. He won't fall for a foolish trap that would get him killed.

Naruko:.....

Naruko stared at Satsuki ticking her off.

Satsuki:What are you staring at loser?

Naruko:Did you just complement Y/n?

Satsuki froze and she turned away.

Satsuki:N-No! I'm just saying he's better than you two. Not saying I actually think he could beat me. Just he's about on my level.
