He was holding a loaded gun, among six of his newest acquaintances. Pacing back and forth, going through them in an elegant slalom. He was whistling a religious song, surprising for the occasion. Pondering a subject that pertained to every one of them, whether or not he was going to take their lives. "Release them" as he said. They weren't gagged, they were just silent. He wanted to make them as comfortable as possible. David S. Morrison, his friend carrying a gun in the back of his suit pants, stood ten feet from them. He called David 'Santiago', a name he had conjured once in his blithe-induced delirium. Elegant, sounds so bad as to be good...
His six new friends, as he thought of them, consisted of a breathtaking young blonde woman, Janie. An elderly man, already approaching his eternal departure, Curtis. A young shopkeeper, James. A short haired brunette, her height described as the length of her hair, Angeles. Two twin brothers, both in their mid twenties, Tyrell and John. He had felt connection with Tyrell, he didn't know why, he just did. No others.
As he was pacing, he heard a deep, raspy voice call his name from ten feet away. "Jesus Christ Vic! Just get them good and dead and let's get the Hell outta here! Why the hell didn't you gag them already?!" He turned to look at Santiago sternly. "Haven't we put them through enough already? I do not visualize my employment as yelling, screaming, and killing. No, my current state of affair is talking. I am simply trying to comfort them as much as physically possible."
He was struck with vengeance towards Vic, therefore he walked forward and struck Curtis in the head. He quickly fell, because of the velocity of the punch. Curtis groaned, while Vic looked at Santiago. "What?! What's the matter, huh?! Didn't think I would do it? I'll do it again! Watch me!" He picked Curtis up with one hand, and considered to savagely beat him with the other. He broke Curtis' nose, twice. Blood splattered onto Janie. She wanted to scream, but Santiago was too indulged with Curtis to notice. Vic calmly put his index finger to his mouth, gesturing for her to remain quiet.
His throbbing hand was soaked with bright red, almost orange blood. Once he noticed it, he let Curtis drop onto the cement floor. He looked at his hand. "What the Hell?! Vic, the fuck's up with him? Bloods usually red, isn't it? This shit's almost orange!" Vic, as politely as he could, grabbed Santiago's hand and held it in front of his face. "You hit a capillary, where blood is fresh! That would explain the discoloration of it as to regular blood." Janie looked at Santiago's hand in pure fear. She screamed. Santiago, in a fit of rage, pulled the gun from the back of his dress pants and shot her until the magazine was empty.
Santiago laughed. "Why, look at that! She fell funny." Vic hung his head and proceeded to shake it. He pointed his weapon at James, and shot him in the head. By then, Angeles was screaming as well. "Please! Please don't kill me! Oh God please!" Santiago had a very mean, very cold look upon him. As Vic was raising his weapon, Santiago loaded his quickly, jumped, and hit her with the barrel of the gun. He sat on top of her and pressed it against her sternum and fired three times.
Vic was enraged at that point, and pushed Santiago off of her. "Vic, what the fuck. You don't fucking push me. You know I can plant a gun on one of these fuckin' stiffs and say they shot ya." Santiago said. Vic retorted. "What is the difference? I would rather work with someone who is mature, and is professional about our line of work." They continued to argue. Tyrell took advantage of the situation. Because Vic wanted to make the people in the small basement as comfortable as possible, he didn't tie them up as well.
Tyrell lunged at Vic, drop kicking him in the genitals, and shoving him to the floor. The velocity of the fall to the cement made him throw his weapon. Santiago still had his. He pointed it at Tyrell and fired. Tyrell dodged the bullet by ducking and jumping to the gun. He leaped onto the floor and crawled towards it. As Santiago was getting up, as to get a better shot at Tyrell, John stood up and tried to tackle Santiago. Santiago stood his ground, and violently turned his body, as to throw John on the floor. John's sides hit the floor first. No sooner that John hit the floor, Santiago shot him in the neck, twice.
