Chapter 9

April POV

It's the first game today.... im freaking out. What will I do. What if something happens to Harry? Or me?! As Harry and I play with our food, that hermione and Ron keep trying to get us to eat. I just can't eat. I'm to nervous. I don't pay attention as Ron and Hermione talk to us. I just get up and head to the pitch.

~the game~

I fly around beating away the bloggers aimed at Harry and anyone else in the team. Marcus flint aimed a blogger at me even though he is a chaser. I lean back on my broom and it flies over my head. Fred hit it back at flint. I fly around and hit a few bloggers. I stop when I see Harry going after the snitch. I don't notice a blogger get aimed at my head. It hit me in the head and I fall from my broom. All I remember is falling and everyone calling my name.

HARRY POV

I'm flying to catch the snitch. I stand up on my broom and reach forward soon falling face first to the ground. I get up and feel like I'm going to be sick. I spit up the snitch and hold it in my hand. I look around to see if I can find April. I see her alright. Falling to her death. I run forward to catch her. I'm not gonna make it. I see her slow to an almost stop.
She flips onto the ground. I run over to her and lift her into my arms. Her head is bleeding?! What happened. Teachers and students ran over to me and April. I refuse to let her go. I was gonna ask her to be my girlfriend after the game. Now I'm holding a bloody April in my arms. The teachers keep telling me I need to get her to the hospital wing. I don't want to let her go. Where is Sirius he should be here! They said they were coming to watch. Soon I see Sirius and Wendy push there way through. Sirius puts his hand on my should "She will be okay. Give her to me and I'll take her to the hospital wing you can come with us. Okay she will be okay you just have to get her to the hospital wing." Sirius opens his arms. I slowly pass April over to him and stand. Wendy hugs me tightly and whispers "She's gonna be okay I promise" I followed Sirius and the teachers up to the castle. Sirius and the teachers head into the hospital but they lock me out in the hall. I sit beside the door waiting. I don't even know what happened. I need to find someone who saw. Fred! He must have seen what happened. I get up and run to the common room where they are throwing a party. I walk over to Fred and grab his shirt pulling him out of the common room "what happened to April! I want to know now." Fred gets an angry look in his eye "Marcus flint. He aimed a blogger to the back of her head. She didn't know it was coming I tried to warn her. She was watching you catch the snitch." Fred looks mad "how is she? Has she woken up yet?" I shook my head "no. They won't let me near her. Thank you for telling me the story Fred. I'm going to wait by the hospital wing again." Fred nodded "I'm coming with you." I nodded and we both walked slowly to the hospital wing. I sit outside the door and just think about April. I've known her for so long. We went to elementary school together. I've had a crush on her since I first saw her. She always stuck up for me when my cousin was beating me up. I never understood why. I was just a stupid boy yet she alway wanted to talk to me. If I never met her I don't know where I would be. Last thing I remember is picturing Aprils ace before I fell asleep.
