Chapter 13

We walked into art and sat down at the same table we usually sit at. Chris came and sat next to me.

"Sebastian can you listen to Shawns new song later on please? I have to go do homework with crawford."

"Sure I'll be at your house around 4:30 to check it out ok?"

"Ok" he nodded and went back to his paper.

"When are we gonna start building the camera out of newspaper? It's due next week on Friday." Chris said to get me and Sebastian's attention. Oh crap I forgot about that camera thing.

"Maybe we should do it tomorrow at Sebastian's house. I promise we will build it before it's due." I said assuring them.

It was already sixth period. I was about to get out in 10 minutes with Crawford.

"Alright since we have extra time you all have free time till the bell rings." Mr.Perez said.
I think he read my mind.

"After we're done with homework do you wanna hangout?" He asked.

"Sure what do you want to do?"

"Maybe make a video and watch some Netflix."

"Netflix you said?"

"Yeah"

"Alright" I said with a smirk.

"Hmm what was that face for? I'm scared now." The bell rang.

I texted Shawn that I was gonna walk with Crawford. I stuck my phone back in my pocket and continued walking. We don't have that much homework but i don't know i just want to become better friends with Crawford. We were already at his driveway. We didn't talk that much on the way over here.

"Race you to the door!" I yelled while running.

"Hey that's not even fair, you cheated and I don't exercise."

"Oh stop being a little soar loser." I told him while He pouted and went inside with me.

"I'll grab the camera and you can grab something in the fridge if you want." he told me after shutting the door.

"Wait aren't we supposed to do the homework?"

"We can do it later."

"Okiedokie" There I go again with lame phrases. I walked to his fridge cause I really was starving and I just grabbed stuff to make a sandwich.
*skip making the sandwich*
He came down with his tripod and camera.

"So what are we gonna do for the video?"

"Um how about Never Have I Ever? haha" he said chuckling.

"Oh my god are you serious Crawf? Oh my lord fine." I said laughing. Now I'm scared I saw that movie Unfriended and it didn't end well😬😂.

"What's up everybody I'm Crawford and this is my friend Melody." Whoops I didn't know he was recording yikes. I just waved and said hi.

"Well she's being a little shy right now but she cool, she cute, she funny, just an awesome friend in general."

"Nice intro" I told him with the 'not bad' face👌🏼.

"Do you wanna say what we are gonna do?"

"We are going to play Never Have I Ever"

"And the loser gets whip cream to the face." he said with a smirk.

"Why'd you make that face?"

"Cause if you really knew me, I always win challenges."

"Always?"

"Well not-"

"Ah don't say anything you are gonna take back those words as soon as you get whip cream all over your face."
He put his hands up in defeat.
"Alright"

"This is how the game goes, you put one hand up and someone says for example, Never Have I Ever picked my nose during class. If you actually picked your nose in class which is gross that means you put one finger down. If it sounds confusing you'll get it as soon as we start playing."

"I'll start. Never Have I Ever liked one of my best friends." Crawford said. Woah where'd that question come from? Does he know that I'm with Seb?. He stared at me waiting for me to put a finger down. What is he trying to get at?
"5 seconds and no fingers are down." he said.

"Ugh fine." I put a finger down.

"K cool me too" he put a finger down also.

"Never Have I Ever been in a relationship."

"10 seconds" I said. I put down my finger waiting for Crawford to put his down too.
It's still not down. Hasn't Crawford been in a relationship before? If he hasnt I don't know what is going on with girls minds cause he is a great guy. He finally put a finger down. Why did he hesitate to put it down?

"Why did you take so long to put a finger down?"

"Nothing I'll tell you later."

"Ok your turn."

We kept playing until we finally reached the end of the video and I lost.

"Alright whip cream time."

"Oh god Crawford don't hit me hard please"

"You seriously think I'm gonna hit a girl? Haha I'm just gonna smear it everywhere."

"Ok ewww just do it already" he rubbed the whip cream ALL OVER my face.

"Ow it got in my eyes haha" I took some off and smacked it in his cheek. I was dying of laughter.

Shawns POV

"Sometimes it all gets a little too much but you gotta realize that soon the fog will clear up and you don't have to be afraid because we're all the same and we know that sometimes it all gets a little too much." I sang and played along with my guitar.

"What do you think?"

"I think it's great. Um I don't know if she told you yet but me and Melody are together." Sebastian told me while looking down.

"Congrats man why do you seem so down?"

"Uh I'm moving to Argentina and I-" I cut him off right there. What does he mean moving.

"What the hell bro your gonna date my little sister only to leave her heartbroken. You have got to be kidding me do you know what you just caused?" I said furiously. He can't just do that.

"I'm sorry Shawn we connected and it just happened. I didn't want to say no."

I kept thinking about what to say to him. Maybe I just need to relax a little. My phone rang interrupting my thoughts. I look at my phone and it's a private number. I answer anyways and it was Cam?

"Hey Shawn"

"Hey what number are you calling me from?"

"Um the jail I'm at rn haha yeah do you think your dad can help bail me out?"

"Woah dude what are you doing over there?"

"Long story short I was making a video and things didn't end right."

"Ok I'll see what my dad can do."
