MaSha breathed heavily as she hid in an alley. She could have been caught by that Monkey. Once she lost him, she managed to lay the bunny down in another alley and hid before the monkey could catch her. She watched him from the shadows when he finally found the child. He seemed to be young, just like the other tiger she had seen earlier. MaSha wondered where she was. Maybe mother wouldn't get mad at her for talking to another tiger perhaps? No. She could risk it. MaSha began to leave the alley when she bumped into a bunch of crates behind her.

"Who goes there?" The monkey got in a defensive pose. His tone scared her. If he caught her and mother found out, she'd be a goner. She growled and hissed before sprinting off. "Come back here!" She could hear the monkey chase after her. She couldn't stop now, he knew someone was there. MaSha growled again, trying to warn him to stay back. She could feel her curse wanting to ignite but she held back. Not here. She'll be exposed.

"Hey!" The monkey shouted again. MaSha began to get scared. He was getting closer to her. "I won't hurt you!" He shouted. That's not true. MaSha thought. All adults said that. Not that she knew many but the ones she did, she always hurt.

"Go away! Leave me alone" She finally shouted and before she knew it, he was gone. She looked behind her, still running, he was gone.

"Ow!" MaSha suddenly crashed into someone. She looked up seeing who it was. A panda. She had never seen a panda before. He rubbed his head as he sat up. He was quite surprised to open his eyes and find a little tiger girl in front of him. Dang even the child tigers are strong. He thought.

"I-I'm sorry." She began to back away from him. Her eyes showed nothing but fear.

"Eh it's okay." The panda chuckled. "You'd be surprised how many times I bump my head." MaSha didn't laugh, which he quickly noticed. "Don't worry. I'll be okay." He gave her a soft smile. MaSha was surprised to see someone being kind to her. He wasn't scared of her? Mother said creatures would be afraid of her. "Are you lost?" He was at her eye level. His eyes showed nothing but kindness. Something she never saw. She shook her head.

"Well just be careful alright?" The panda's smile never left as he spoke to her. MaSha nodded, not saying a word. The panda pet her head ruffling her fur a bit before leaving. MaSha looked at the panda as he walked off. He was nice to her. Or maybe he was just pretending to be nice so he could kidnap her later. Actually getting kidnapped isn't such a bad idea in my case. MaSha shook the thought of her head. Her mother was all she had and all she'll ever have.

"I swear it sounded like a child." Monkey protested.

"Even if it was a child, you let them get away!" Tigress was angry. They had just returned to the palace, with little to no new information on the situation.

"She sounded scared." Monkey told her. "I didn't want to frighten her more than she already was."

"Didn't you think we could have, I don't know, helped her?" Crane looked at him. Monkey was about to speak again but decided against it. Maybe it was a bad idea to have let her go.

A few moments later Emperor Kang Zi walked in with a doctor. His ears flat against his skull.

"Defaced just like the others." Kang Zi sighed with a frown.

"There is one difference though." The Doctor looked at the young warriors. "All the other kills seem like they were hesitant to do it. Some of their facial features could still be determined to find out who they were but this one. Well it seems like they did it out of anger. Not even an eye was saved from the attack. They've grown more confident. It will be a long time before we can figure out who this child was." Monkey felt really guilty now. Maybe that child he saw had been a witness. Maybe they had seen who put the dead bunny in that alley.
