The moon beamed so bright. Like many other nights, a light mist crawled in the air; making the temperature quite biting. Under the dim of candle lights, the bed remained tidy. A clock ticking in silence, accompanying someone sitting by the window; staring out pensively. With the glasses removed onto his lap, his head sunk; reminiscing the times about he and his brothers, especially William, of what they done in the past. When they were little, when they started everything.

As you can see, Louis couldn't sleep at all. Since afternoon he's been there, like a someone that waiting for something. But, for what? Another tears rolled on his cheek.

Knock knock!

A sudden knock rang the door. He hastily wiped the tears, reluctant to showing anyone his fragility before he puts his glasses on and saying "Come in!" with steady tone; trying to not to sound shaky. The door opened with a low creaking. One foot step ahead, before showing the whole figure in a cloak, appeared from darkness behind. In the feeble lights, Louis stupefield, seeing a pair of bright red eyes that gave him chills. Then, the mysterious man greeted with a soft tone, "Hello, Louis."

"Will... William!"

Before that person could react, Louis jumps from the chair, hugging him tightly. His tears couldn't hold any longer. "H-how could you do that!?" he cried. "You're still alive, brother, but why... why didn't you tell me? Whole this time... that you're-"

"I am sorry," said William, unmoved in his arms. "I am truly sorry for everything. For leaving you, for keeping you waiting... but still, i can't stay here. We... we can't be together anymore."

Letting go his embrace, he blinking, behind his glasses with tears and agony. "Why, brother? You are here, so we can just-"

Showing his hands as answer, Louis gasped. There was a red rope tying both William's wrists, so tight that it swelled and bruised its skin. Spontaneously, Louis's eyes widened, try to undone the rope. "Who did this to you, brother?!"

He gritted his teeth, as if he try to endures the pain that he was involved to. "Please," he begged, "i can't hold this anymore. You must help me, Louis. It's hurt!"

Something odd occured when the knot loosens. Instead of unravel, the tied got tighter; making William falls into the floor and grimaced in pain. Louis felt the same. He kneeled, gritted his teeth, try his best to let go that thing. "Why is this not working!?" as he panicked, his gaze struck something shiny in the desk; above the pile of the books. Oh, he remembered. He had a pocket knife. Why he didn't use it earlier?

"Please... Louis!"

"Hold on, brother!"

In a flash, he got up and grabbed the thing. The coldness of the steel touched his grip, giving him a light gasp before he comes back to him. A sound of crapping blade was heard as he put it closer to the rope.

"Everything's gonna be alright," he breathed. "I promise, brother."
