"Hello. My name is Amber. I'm a 16 year old girl who is a bully victim. I can't really explain the things they do to me. They say I can't tell you. All I can say is please help. I can't right for much longer. Aunt Jane will catch me." I wrote in my journal with a white crystal heart on the front of it. I closed the book and hid it on the shelves with all the other diaries I've went through.
People say I'm worthless. Ugly. Stupid. And every other thing you could possibly think of. I can't tell my Aunt Jane, though. She would just say it was true. Some of those things have came out of her mouth before. Uncle Steve would say the same things and pretty much back my Aunt up. I don't mind it, though. Just as long as they don't take out the belts.
School is just as painful as home. People bully me nonstop and most of the time it's physical. Only girls really bully me. The boys stay out of it, but one time, Lisa, the main bitch in my school, called up her boyfriend to beat me up for her so she doesn't break a nail or some shit.
Aunt Jane: Get your ass downstairs! The bus is here!
Me: Yeah, yeah! I'm coming!
I grab my black backpack and scurry downstairs and just right out the door and get onto the bus. I sit somewhere near the middle of the bus and luckily there's an empty seat. If I'm ever sitting next to someone on the bus, they will do something like punch me or kick me. Something physical. No one really ever talks to me except when they are in a big group.
The bus arrives late and then I get up to walk to the door of the bus. I'm shoved a couple of times, as usual. When I get to the door, I fell out onto the hard concrete. My vision goes a little blurry. I know that I didn't fall or trip. Someone pushed me. I drift off into a deep dark sleep.
I appear in a dark gray cloudy area. It's a small area and I'm all alone. All I could hear was voices laughing at my pain. I couldn't see anything. I was crying in the dream. Then I remember, my eyes. The only think I like about myself. My eyes. My mothers eyes. Something about them calm me down. I miss my mother and father. I try to see them in my dream but I am still stuck in that gloomy room. Maybe it's not a dream. I'm curled up into a pathetic ball of a human and I can't stop crying. I can't do anything. I can't move. I am being haunted by the voices. They are getting more and more louder and clear.
All of the sudden, I'm awoken by a boy. I'm in the health room.
Boy: Are you okay?
Me: Huh? Yeah. Why?
I was hiding my face because I didn't want him to hit my face
Boy: You were crying... let me see your face.
Me: Why?
I show my face but I'm terrified what he is gonna do to me.
Boy: You're head is bleeding pretty badly. You also broke your arm.
Me: They were laughing right?
Boy: What do you mean?
Me: When I got hurt. They laughed. I know they did.
Boy: I wasn't there. I'm in here for volunteer work.
Me: Am I gonna go home?
Boy: Of course. We're gonna tell your mom-
I interupted him.
Me: Aunt.
Boy: Oh..uh...sorry. Anyway we're gonna tell her to go get you xrayed to make sure of the broken arm and to get it in a cast and to xray your skull to make sure it doesn't have any fractured parts, either.
Me: She wont care.
Boy: What?
Me: She's not gonna take me.
Boy: Umm... well...
Me: Wjhat's your name?
Boy: Tyler
Me: I'm Amber.
After we talked a little, my aunt finally arived and took me straight home. Didn't take me anywhere to get a cast or anything. Just like I thought.
