Chapter 2:"A Promise with Resentment"

He was not good enough for her, she had a pretty face
But her head was up in space
She needed to come back down to earth♪

Natsu and Gray's House
(Living room)

Natsu's POV

Obviously I was so pissed yesterday. Beyond pissed actually. Why do they act so cruel towards us like we're the lowest people that existed in Earth?! Ugh!!

"Dude, chill. You're gonna break the mug any moment" my raven-haired roommate said, eyes focus on TV.

"Well good news, I don't f°°°ing care" I said nonchalantly, gripping the hold of the mug much tighter. "They made fun of me because of how I look!! Sheez, people are judgemental these days!!"

"They're popular. We can't do anything against them. Remember the girl they bullied for years, when she reported nothing happened. They had only gotten stronger."

"Thanks. That helps a lot" I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes. "Aren't you going to school Gray?"

"Nah, I'll skip today. Don't want bumping on Laxus again" Gray shuddered. Yeah, last, last week he bumped Laxus accidentally spilling his coffee to his new shirt. When Gray got home I have to take him to the hospital and stayed there for a week. He was beaten up completely.

I check the time and it's already 10 am. My first subject starts at 11 so 1 more hour to go. "I'll play my board outside, wanna join?"

"Later, I've had sprained my ankle."

"Whatever" I grabbed my bag and my board but stopped in front of my open door.

"L-L-Lis---"

"Hi, um... Sorry about yesterday but I promise you and whoever your buddy is. I won't treat you guys as low classes. I'm very very sorry about yesterday, seriously" she bowed.

"L-look, you don't need to apologize. I understand it anyway" no, I don't "How did you know where I live?"

Lisanna straighten her position and stared at me. Like reading my eyes, something like that. "Ah, eh, I asked Erza about it"

Of course, the university President knows where you live. Great. Maybe Laxus will pay us soon a visit once he knew and we'll throw a loser party. Talk about sarcasm.

"Oi Flame-brain! Who the hell is on the door?" Gray yelled from behind. "Holy S°°°!" he fall back, eyes widen, fear shown beneath his dark blue eyes. "WHY IS THERE A R.O.T.F. HERE??!!" he shrieked.

"Get up Ice-popsicle, she's nicer than the rest of them" I reasoned so he would calm down.

"Hey" Lis smiled waving her hand.

"DON'T 'HEY' ME!! GET OUT!!" She looked shocked at his sentence.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, GRAY!! F°°°, calm down. She is a Strauss"

"Oh yeah! But part of Roar's"

"That doesn't make any difference"

"You know what! Get to know her better first"

"Fine. I'm Gray Fullbuster. The one that Laxus beat up because of spilling coffee to his new shirt" He stated sternly. Ugh! This is getting us to nowhere!

"Li--"

"Lisanna Strauss, the third child of the Strauss. Assistant secretary of Roar of the Fairies" he cut her off. Lisanna was stunned to his little speech. What the f, man!!!

I glared at Gray. "Sorry, sorry. I'm still not use to this. Welcome to our home Lisanna"

Lisanna's mood lighten. We let her in and I, the one who have class at 11, skipped today just to spend my day with her.

1 month had passed and me and Lis became close. Gray of course doubted at first but soon accepted her. Things went smoothly but didn't last long, these last days, she became distant to us, to me. It's like were nothing when she passed us. Sometimes when I'm going to visit her, she would say 'I'm busy' or 'See ya later boy'.

And today wasn't making it any better, in fact it became worser. Worse than worser.

And in time like this.

"Natsu, I like you. Like really like like you but, I don't want to ruin my reputation also." Lis emphasized.

"Why won't you just quit? It's not like you owe them or something!"

"I can't! It's not that easy! Once you quit, you will also leave the school and I can't let that happen. They're also my friends!"

"Friends?! You call them friends, Lis?! Answer me! We're here. Lis, we can work this out. If we joined forces we can take them down." Natsu grasped their hands. His eyes are glossy.

"I'm sorry." she cried pulling away her hands, "I really am. I want to but I can't."

"Why Lis? Why?! Just f°°°ing why?! I like you!"

There was a pregnant pause before she spoke.

"They think you're not good enough for me! Your clothes is not worthy for a high class! Your attitude is way too far from my standard!" the third ones a total lie. I know her!

"Elfman and Mira likes me! Why do you even listen to those stuck-up b°°°°°s?! Huh?!" her tears flowed non-stop and it's making me a 'lil bit guilty. Her body quivered and her breathing is uneven. I, on the other hand, doesn't give s°°° about it. Damn it!

"So you're going to get rid of your feelings to me because your friends said I'm not worthy?" I asked, anger started to tingle in my veins.

She nodded slightly looking down. "B°°°S°°°!!!" I ran my hands roughly to my pink locks.

"I'm so--"

"STOP!! Don't! I don't need your f°°°ing apology" and with that I ran away from her. I ran, ran as fast as I can.. This is so stupid!

When I stopped, I found myself standing near the river. Huh. Never thought there's a river here. Don't even know where I am.

I groaned and sit at the grass. This place is beautiful. The sound of the river flow is quite peaceful.

I place my hands on my face groaning. Again.

She said she likes me but she also want to stay in her position. That is so URRGHHH!!!

Today, I'll make a vow. A vow of showing who's the low class!! I'll show those bastards!!

I'm not doing this for revenge but I'm doing this for my sake and also for those who they treated as low class and dragging down the so-called 'Roar of the Fairies'!!

I have had enough drama in my stories.. Sucks..
