Chapter 13

I blink open my eyes as early morning sunlight filters through the windows. I stretch and nuzzle back against Noax's still form behind me. He groans and wraps his arm tighter around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I turn over so I'm facing him, placing my hands on his bare chest. I gently kiss his collar bone, making my way up to his throat which earns me another groan as he digs his fingers into my back.

"Don't start something you can't finish," he mutters.

"One hour. My office," Noax growls.

I hear footsteps retreating as Rick walks away.
