The Castle | TBZ

The bell rang. Students were rushing to their classes. At least the High Class are. The Low Classes were already since early morning and they were only seated in their seat, studying. Even if they were talking, they were talking lowly.

The high class building was so loud. Everyone was chattering away and they were moving around. Teachers would want to teach the High Class but you need strong mentality for that. In the Low Class teacher is already starting the class while in the opposite building the teacher is struggling to have everyone seated down. They were like a bunch of kindergarten students.

"Wait here"

Y/n nodded to the teacher and waited next to the door. The teacher entered the class before her.

Y/n was a new student in The Castle and she was personally scouted by the principal herself. The chances of being scouted by the principal is very thin. Yet she was successfully scouted.

Being the top student for years straight in her previous school was the thing that managed the principal to step in and scout her.

Y/n was always 1st in her old school. She never fell back to 2nd or 3rd. Even if she doesn't do anything she will get 1st grade. People might say that it's because she payed the teachers and all that but Y/n has no money to do that.

Her parents managed a bakery and they earned enough to support Y/n for her old school fees. But with the new school it was a struggle. Thankfully Y/n's godparents were there to help. They were also not that wealthy but to pay for The Castle's school fees was no problem. The couple also was unable to have a child so they just took Y/n in.

"Y/n? You can come in now"

Y/n bravely walked in and towards the teacher that was waving to her.

"Students! This is Y/n. She is your new classmate! She is scouted by the principal so take care of her like how you did with previous students. Y/n briefly introduce yourself"

"Hi! My name is Han Y/n. Please take care of me" the students clapped and welcomed Y/n.

"You can sit next to Mera" she pointed towards the kid that was drinking water. Mera was so close to falling asleep. For her a good morning is a sleep morning. Mera has lots of infamous saying but her favorite one is 'if I was a pizza, me plus morning is a disgusting combination'

Back to Y/n, she made her was to the kid and waved at her. Mera shyly waved back and looked away.

Y/n took out her newly bought books and her stationery. "What page are we at?"

"Can I be honest? I have no idea" Mera whispered.

Y/n just chuckled and did a thumbs up.

"Let's go have lunch" Mera offered while stretching her body.

"Is the others not going?" Y/n asked after seeing most of her new classmates still sitting in their seats.

"Nope. They prefer to stay in to study. That's why I will buy them bread! I feel bad watching them study without eating"

Y/n nodded and stood up, with Mera hugging her arms. She didn't expect Mera to be the friendly type given her cold looks.

When they reached the hallway, it was barely filled with people. It looked as if the students didn't really care about lunch. Or they'd just brought lunch.

Mera had filled in some things that Y/n has to know. Including the High Class.

"So High Class will sometimes bring Low Class students to eat at their side?" Y/n asked while sitting down in front of Mera.

"Yup! Only if you're in their good side. But they don't do it that often"

"Have you eaten there?"

"Yep! My close cousin is part of the High Class. I will only ask him to take me there if I crave the food there"

"Is their food that different?"

"Not really but they have a convenience store that I absolutely love! They sell really good stuff there"

Y/n nodded. So they live up to the High and Low system...

"But let me assure you that our food is way tastier! The lunch at that building is very normal and ours is spectacular!" Mera praised.

Both of them had conversations that made it seem like they've known each other since they were 6.

Given Mera's personality of making people feel comfortable, Y/n settled in quite well in the Low Class.
