"Welcome, to the Stanley Hotel." Sam said in a dramatic voice as he opened the door. Colby scoffed.
"What are you talking about, we're already at the Stanley Hotel." He said. At that moment, they were hit with a very musty smell. Everyone coughed and groaned at the smell.
"Oh! It smells like, old woman." Sam said, scrunching his nose up. [Y/N] felt kind of nervous in this room. She rang her hands together, trying to keep her nerves together.
"Nothing's worse than the smell of old people." Jake said. Corey looked at [Y/N].
"What do you feel here, [Y/N]?" He asked. [Y/N] took a deep breath.
"Well, I feel, kind of nervous. Like, something doesn't really want us here," she said. Everyone looked at each other with slightly terrified faces. "But, I also feel, kind of safe in this room. I feel like now, I'm sort of welcomed here." She said, her body posture visibly relaxed. They continued to look around the room.
"This room is so, unmodern," Sam said. He then walked over to the corner of the room. "And then you see this thing. Some like, high tech thermostat looking thing." He said, making everyone chuckle.
"You know Mrs. Wilson, that like, maid lady that cleans everything up? Colby asked. He was still filming while Sam stood to his right and Corey, Jake and [Y/N] were all sitting on the bed. [Y/N] nodded.
"Yeah." She said. Colby looked at Sam.
"What if, we purposefully mess up the room, leave, and then come back and see if she's cleaned it up." Colby said. Sam nodded in agreement.
"I'm down for that." He said. Colby looked at [Y/N].
"What do you think, babe?" He asked. [Y/N] sighed.
"Um, I think that it could be a good idea, especially if that's what she's most known for is like, cleaning up the bed sheets in the rooms, but I really, really want you guys to be careful," she said. Everyone now turned their attention to the Medium. "I know that earlier I said that I felt like we were sort of welcomed here, but that could all change in an instant if we are not careful and if we upset the wrong spirit," she said. Colby nodded and looked at Sam.
"Yeah, that's true." He said.
"Despite the research we did before coming here and all of the stories we've heard from the staff, we, honestly have no idea what other spirits are here besides Mrs. Wilson," she counted off the spirits that they were aware of on her fingers. "Lucy, that girl who was the squatter, and the butler who supposedly walks up and down the halls of the fourth floor." She said. Corey looked at everyone in shock.
"Yo! I completely forgot about the butler!" He said. Sam nodded.
"Yeah, I did to. And, honestly, I think we should listen to what [Y/N] is saying. Especially with what she told us she encountered when she first came here. We have no idea what other spirits are here or what they're capable of." He said. "I still think we should do it all, like, just to make sure. Like, leave lollipops out, open all of the doors at night," Sam said. Just then, Corey's phone went off, someone was calling him. Corey held up his phone. Sam and the others looked at him. "Are you still getting spam calls?" Sam asked. Ever since they went to the Biltmore Hotel, Corey had been getting random phone calls from an unknown number. Every time he would answer it, there would be no one on the other end. Corey shook his head and hit the red end call button.
"No." He said. [Y/N] turned and looked at him.
"You're not going to answer it?" She asked. Corey shook his head and laughed.
