It had been a few minutes since Nadia had left. [Y/N] had been silent, thinking about what she had said to her. [Y/N] honestly couldn't believe that she was going back to the Stanley Hotel and facing the very thing that had terrified her when she was just 17.
"Babe," Colby said, breaking her out of her trance. [Y/N] looked up at Colby, who was now holding the camera.
"Hm?" She asked.
"Are you okay? Like, are you still scared, to go back to the Stanley Hotel?" He asked. [Y/N] sighed and straightened up. She ran her hands down her legs.
"I mean, honestly, yeah," she let out a chuckle. "I mean, I am scared. I haven't been back since I was 17. But, I guess, now I know what to expect, and I have the tools I need to finally face my fears." She said. Colby nodded. He panned the camera over to Corey.
"What about you, Corey, are you scared now? Like, what does that mean?" He asked, making [Y/N] chuckle. Corey stared at Colby.
"Yeah I'm scared!" He shouted.
"Have you been thinking about what happened in your childhood, or do you think that's like, complete b.s.?" Sam asked. Corey looked around.
"No, it's, it's really weird cause like, I've been talking about Ouija Boards a lot lately." Corey said. Colby panned the camera over towards Sam.
"Do you think she knew something?" Sam asked. Corey looked at Sam like he was crazy.
"Yeah bro! She's a reader, right? How did she just call all of that?" He asked. Sam nodded.
"I was gonna say, she was pretty accurate for pretty much everyone except for Jake, really. But he didn't say much, so." Sam said. Colby panned the camera over to Jake.
"I believe that people like that are real," Corey said. "I mean, like, obviously people like [Y/N], Mediums that can see, feel, and communicate with the dead are obviously real 'cause we've seen what she can do. But I also believe that people like Nadia have a real talent and all that's real." Corey said. [Y/N] nodded.
"Yeah. I believe in psychic mediums as well. I know that a lot of people out there don't really believe in psychic mediums or mediums like myself, but it's mostly because they can't see what we see. They don't see the ghosts and spirits and the energies that we do." She said. Everyone nodded. Colby turned the camera around to face him.
"Next video you're gonna see me looking like a leprechaun! Like, I'm gonna be wearing a fuckin' green top hat and green suit on just walking around like," Colby said, causing everyone to laugh. Jake was laying on the couch.
"I'm gonna wear all black tomorrow. I don't give a fuck!" He shouted. [Y/N] looked at him.
"Jake, you are just asking for bad thing to happen to you." She said, chuckling.
"Anyways," Colby said, laughing. "Stanley Hotel, tomorrow, let's go baby!" He shouted.
"Yeah, we gotta get up early in the morning." Sam said, not sounding enthusiastic at all.
~~~
[Y/N] sighed as she finished brushing her teeth and had gotten ready for bed. She brushed out her hair and got on her pajamas for the night. She was wearing a gray, long sleeve crop top and gray shorts. She walked out of the bathroom and looked at Colby. He was already in bed. He had his shirt off and his boxers on. This was how he always slept. He was scrolling through his phone, probably getting the alarm set up for the morning. He looked up from his phone and smiled at his girlfriend.
"Hey." He said, turning off his phone and plugging it in, setting it on the side table.
"Hey." She said. [Y/N] smiled and walked over to her side of the bed. She pulled back the covers and climbed in, moving over and laying down, resting her head against Colby's chest. Colby kissed her head as she sighed.
