apparently my feet led me to an alley way since thats where i ended up waking up.

i sighed, cracking my neck then my back before looking around.

it was secluded in the back of town. definitely nobody from my school would find me here, or at least thats what i hope.

my growling stomach broke me from my thoughts.

'i have no money.' i thought.

'heck i have absolutely nothing.'

without knowing what time it was or even where i was i began walking again.

i ignored the stares i received, surely i couldn't be identified as the same hot headed blonde explosion boy from class 1-a. no way. no way that same boy would look so frail, covered in dirt, walking around town like a lost dog. but it was. it was that same boy. and fuck i hated it.

soon enough i felt myself tug open the door to a convenient store.

my eyes scanned through the shelves looking for something cheap but also something that i could slip through my sleeve easily.

i picked up 2 granola bars and quickly looked around to ensure nobody was watching. swiftly i tucked them neatly in my sleeves, hiding them completely.

i continued to walk around, pretending to look for something again.

i grabbed a singular bag of chips and headed to the counter.

"is this all?" the lady asked before scanning it.

i nodded and started to dig through my pockets.

"$2.45 please." she said awaiting for me to hand her the money.

i didnt have that money, and it was all part of my plan.

"oh i uh dont have that, sorry." i said, taking the chips and placing them back on the shelf.

the woman nodded and began to ring someone else up, which left me with two successfully stolen granola bars still in my sleeve.

i stepped out of the store, the now warm air consuming me as i continued to walk.

i reached my hand into the back pocket of my only pair of pants, not counting my uniform, and realized it was empty. i hadn't even brought my phone.

so now i was lost in the city with no phone, no parents, no home, and barley any food.

'god, i really am a fuck up.' i said to myself.

i had an entire day to find out how to get to ua from wherever i was.

i may not have a home but i still have the dorms which relieved me a bit. i wouldnt be completely alone.

stopping in my tracks i decided it would probably be best to ask someone the closest route to ua.

so i did so.

walking up to this guy i tapped on his shoulder gently, raising his attention.

"yes?" he asked, pulling an earbud from his ear.

"sorry- i was just wondering how i could get to ua high from here.. if you happen to know." i said, rubbing the back of my nape nervously.

"well.. uh, your safest bet is to take the train but- looking at you i dont think thats an option." he said, referring to my disheveled appearance. "i say, walk until you reach the middle school which luckily isnt too far from here. but from there, im not too sure." he said honestly.

"thank you sir." i said, walking off.

the middle school huh? it would be helpful if i knew where i was but.. i had an idea.

i headed left off of a main street and continued walking until i was met with a lake. a very familiar lake. the same lake i wa- nevermind, it didn't matter. i shook my head as if shaking it would make the thoughts go away. to no avail, i continued walking.

my feet ached and i wasnt nearly there yet.

i decided to take a break, plopping down in a field of grass i began to munch on one of the stolen granola bars.

i finished up, shoving the empty wrapper in my pocket and continuing my journey.

soon enough i arrived at the entrance of the middle school. god i hated his fucking place. now that i knew where i was, i knew the rest of the way.

my eyes flickered to the roof of the building and i quickly shot them down to my shoes.

'no..' i thought.

"take a swan dive off the roof of the building." i said, snarling. "what? is there a problem, deku?" i asked, shooting small explosions from my hand. "n-n-no.. sorry.. h-heh." he said, running out to grab the notebook i had thrown out the window and into the fountain. i could only laugh, what a stupid bastard.

"goddamn it." i cried out, wiping my eyes on my sleeves.

i only watched my shoes, walking towards the direction of ua.

i kicked a rock with me, my only form of entertainment at the moment.

the sun was beginning to set and the goldish-red hues of the sky intrigued me. it was gorgeous. if i had my phone i probably would've snapped a picture, cringe, i know. but i liked it.

i didnt have much time to sit around, the sun was already setting and i had about another hour worth of walking.

snaking through some of the neighborhoods, i was met with the park the bakusquad would occasionally hangout at.

i felt a smile tug at my lips and i scoffed, "tck." continuing my walk with the rock ive dragged along with me.

the skies bright hues were dimming down to much darker ones. stars were littered the sky perfectly as i walked and walked and walked.

taking a deep breath i stood at the front door of the dorms. "fuck nobodys gonna be awa-" i said beginning to walk away until the door was opened.

i was met with a pair of crimson red eyes, ones i knew belonged to my only friend, kirishima.

"hey bro, whatchu doi-" he stopped talking and looked me up and down.

i was a mess and i knew it. my hair was covered in dirt, my clothes ripped and stained, bruises all over my body. i was disgusting.

"woah bakugo.. what happened to yo-" i cut him off by shoving past him and stomping my way to my room, my fake mask taking full effect by now.
