Both Megumi and I raced through the corridors of the school, the presence of cursed spirits thickening with every turn. Frustration lined Megumi's voice as he shouted, "Its presence is all over!"

Turning a corner, I came face-to-face with a bizarre-looking cursed spirit emitting strange slurping sounds. "Shit! Did it escape the club room already?" I muttered to myself, instinctively preparing to attack. But before I could act, Megumi swiftly moved past me.

"You're in our way," Megumi stated calmly, his voice carrying an undertone of authority. With a quick hand sign, he summoned his shikigami.

"Divine dogs..." Megumi murmured, charging his cursed energy as he prepared to engage the cursed spirit. "Go and feast!"

I watched in awe as Megumi's shikigami, the divine dogs, leaped into action, tearing into the cursed spirit with precision. His control over his cursed energy was masterful, each attack calculated and effective. I ran ahead as the divine dogs worked to exorcise the curse, Megumi close behind me. As we sprinted through the school, two blob-like curses materialized and lunged at me. I dodged their attacks and continued running, shouting back to Megumi, "It's close!"

Megumi caught up quickly, his divine dogs clearing the path ahead of us. Finally, we came to a halt as we spotted the cursed spirit holding the finger, with a student as its hostage.

"Is it trying to swallow the finger and the students at the same time?!" I exclaimed in disbelief, my eyes locked on the dangerous scene before us. Panic surged within me as I grappled with the limitations of my own abilities—I couldn't risk attacking and potentially harming the innocent.

Just as I felt powerless to act, the window shattered and Yuuji burst into the room, launching a flying kick at the cursed spirit. My jaw dropped in astonishment at his audacity and bravery—I hadn't expected Yuuji to take such a bold action.

"Megumi!" I called out urgently, rushing forward to assist the frightened students while Yuuji engaged the cursed spirit, diverting its attention away from its hostages.

Megumi's expression hardened as he glared slightly at Yuuji, clearly surprised by his impulsive move. "Itadori?!" Megumi shouted, his voice a mix of shock and concern.

I swiftly ushered the students to safety, grateful for Yuuji's intervention but also wary of the escalating danger. As Yuuji continued to distract the cursed spirit, I kept a watchful eye on the unfolding battle, ready to assist Megumi if needed.

The room filled with tension as Yuuji's daring move bought us precious moments to strategize. Megumi joined me, his presence reassuring amidst the chaos. Together, we assessed the situation, silently communicating our next steps as we prepared to confront the cursed spirit head-on.
