Going home

Patrick's POV
I woke up in the morning to see Hailey still sleeping. I didn't want to wake her up just yet. I figured I would let her sleep until the doctor came in to check on her. She looked really peaceful. Today was going to be a long day since we had to go get her stuff from her ex's house. Which I decided to see if Travis and Brittany could help.

P: Hey Travis I was wondering if you could help me with something today.
T: Hey. Sure what's up.
P: So Hailey broke up with her boyfriend last night and has to go get her stuff from his place. She is going to stay in my guest room. Don't worry we have a whole story for the press.
T: Alright man just send me the address and the time we are meeting there and I'll help.
P: Ok well we are waiting for the doctor and she is still sleeping right now. So once I know I'll let you know.
T: Alright see you later.

P: Hey Brittany I was wondering if you could help me with something today.
B: Hey what is it that you need help with.
P: Hailey broke up with her boyfriend last night and needs help moving her stuff out of his house.
B: Oh yeah I'll help. Where is she moving to?
P: She is moving into my guest room. Don't worry we already have a story for the press.
B: Alright just let me know when to meet you and where.
P:Alright I will.

After seeing if they would help. Hailey was awake and already headed to the bathroom. Soon after she got done the doctor came in.

Hailey's POV
I woke up this morning and seen Patrick on his phone. I didn't want to bother him since we are just friends. I went straight to the bathroom since I needed to pee. I got out of the bathroom and the doctor was in the room.

Dr: Good morning Hailey how are you feeling?
H: I'm feeling good.
Dr: Good. I have your discharge papers ready to go. All you have to do is get dressed and your ready to go.
H: Thanks doc. I hope you have a good day.
Dr: I'll try. But you try not to put a lot of weight on your leg. Take things slow.
H: Will do.

After the doctor left I went to grab my clothes. I done realized this will be difficult. Patrick ended up helping me out my clothes on from yesterday. After getting me dressed we went to the car.

H: Thanks for helping me.
P: Of course. But Travis and Brittany are going to meet us at your ex's house to help get your stuff.
H: Ok. Do you want me to text them from your phone to let them know the address.
P: Sure.

H: Hey this is Hailey. I'm letting you know the address is 705 S Pine Street. We are headed there now. I appreciate the help.
T: Alright thanks Hailey. See you guys there. Also no problem.

B: Hey girl thanks for the address I'll meet you guys there. Also no problem.

After putting Patrick's phone in the cup holders I looked out the window. Today was going to be a hard day since I couldn't really help much. Patrick was being super helpful. Which I was extremely grateful for. I noticed he started to hold my hand which was really calming. Not long after we pulled up to Matt's house. Things weren't going to go well. I noticed his truck was still here which means he didn't go to work.

Patrick put the car in park and came around to my side of the car. He grabbed my crutches from the back seat and held them for me. I then noticed Travis and Brittany walking towards us. Travis didn't look very happy.

T: Hey guys. I thought he was suppose to be at work unless he has another vehicle.
H: Nope that's his only vehicle. If you guys don't want to help it's ok. I can do this on my own.
B: Hey girl we got your back. Don't worry he starts something the boys will handle it.
P: Yeah come on girl let's go get your stuff. Don't worry I won't let him near you. He lost you.
H: Thanks I really appreciate it.
T: Of course girl. Now let's get it done and go get breakfast.
H: I like the sound of that.
