Another Side Of The Universe

Resurrection Arc 1

Kaizo stood by the window of his ship. He gazes upon the scattered stars around him. Darkness ushers in little specks of light.

A universe without her is but an empty space....

No light nor stars can fill the void in this hole

She left me... deserted

"If only I were stronger...."

Those words haunt him as he ventures through the stars.

A red light flickers softly as a small beeping sound steps into the silence of solitude. Kaizo slowly walks to his table and presses a button.

"Captain, we've arrived," said Lahap from the other side.

"I'll be there," Kaizo replied.

He walks to a mirror and looks at himself.

After Axion's death, he quit Astraeus station and traveled to space. Regardless of how cold Kaizo becomes, Lahap decided to follow him like a loyal friend. Ramenman however, was mad and threw a fit.

Ramenman holds Kaizo by the collar and lifts him. He pins Kaizo to the wall.

"WHY???!!!" Ramenman yelled.

Kaizo stayed silent. His head hangs low. Seeing Kaizo unable to look at him in the eye, Ramenman becomes more infuriated

Ramenman harshly slams Kaizo harder to the wall. But Kaizo still doesn't say a word.

"Is this how it's gonna be? You're quitting? You're going to leave after her?" said Ramenman. "You're going to give up, IS THAT IT?!!"

Kaizo didn't reply. His eyes stared blankly to the floor.

"If it were her, she wouldn't give up... and you know that." Ramenman slowly shook his head in disbelief. "How could you...."

"I could no longer follow Maskmana's path...." said Kaizo softly.

Ramenman slowly let go of Kaizo.

"I can no longer walk among you," said Kaizo. "I'm going to do things... my way."

Ramenman nodded quickly. "Oh, I see. So you're different now. A tragedy hit you and now, you think you're Sooo much different from us now?! So- what? Y-you're going to... pretend and play hero, wandering around with vengeance," said Ramenman sarcastically.

They both went silent. Ramenman breathed heavily, trying to control his emotions.

"You're a fool, Kaizo," said Ramenman before he walked away, frustrated. Kaizo slowly falls to the floor.

Kaizo takes a last glance at himself in the mirror. He took his jacket and went to the command station.

The first few months were hard. Kaizo wanders the space aimlessly, not knowing what he's looking for. Until he decides to look for sources of power such as the power sphere. Eventually, Kaizo took interest in magic. He looks for information about the magic Axion used with little hope it will make him feel a little closer to Axion.

At the command station, Lahap is waiting in the pilot seat. Lahap takes a glance at Kaizo before he puts his focus back to the landing site.

The ship slowly descends. On the ground, Fang is waiting along with a woman.

-Earth, somewhere along the coast of Ireland-

Fang watched his brother's spaceship slowly land before him.
