------------------------------------------------------------Life sucks. It really does, when the one place you enjoy going to with your friends closes for refurbishment comes knocking on your door just to piss you off does, makes you hate life.
Bakugou always enjoyed the Wednesday night club night, him and his squad of numskulls always knew how to make his night one to remember, so there's nothing holding him back from enjoying a good night out with his friends.
But of course they needed a new place to hang for a bit, at least until their old place is reopened and looking brand new. They never knew what it was that drove them there, perhaps the club music blasting from the radio, the delicious meals they tried a thousand times.
Whatever the reason they always came back, until now, walking down the abandoned streets of a road they don't commonly walk down, seeing a few Chinese restaurants, bakeries, barbers.
Until his pink haired friend, whose skin was always a light pink, pointed to a bar sign that had 'live music' written underneath. Rolling his eyes and stuffing his hands in his pockets he just mumbled in agreement.
No place could replace the old place ;))
Pushing it open they were welcomed with a small place, the bar in the centre of the room, not too far from the front door. The stools lining it.
The drinks neatly displayed in the center, walking around there was a small dance floor where it was hard wood while the rest was a velvet red carpet. The walls are dark brown.
Booths along the right side of the wall, while a few tables and chairs lined the floor. The room has an interesting glow with a few blues and pinks around.
Neon signs of drinks and other things to decorate the walls. There weren't many people but that didn't catch his attention. What caught Katsuki's attention was the voice, the voice he heard when the door first opened.
"I wanna follow we're she goes."
The sound of the upbeat electric guitar, following the sound of the voice he saw at the small stage, a small little band, a drummer, bass and keyboard. But who caught his eye was the main vocalist.
Sitting down yet looking tall and confident, perfectly split red and white hair, two dazzling eyes that were two shades of his now favourite colours, a red mark around the left eye.
"I think about her and she knows it."
He breathed softly, his voice calm and so enchanting he could feel the sound waves manipulating him into listening. He couldn't take his eyes off him, while his friends made their way towards the booths.
"I wanna let it take control, cause everytime that she gets closer."
Taking in a deep breath his voice hightning at a note so perfect, he had to have years of experience.
"She pulls me in, enough to keep me guessing, Mhm."
Bakugou sat down with his friends while he focused all his attention on the male, who has to be about the same age as him, his Adam's apple moving softly as he hummed with his eyes closed, keeping his mouth pressed to the microphone.
"Maybe I should stop and start confessing."
He could feel the corus coming, he could feel the beat changing soon, all he wanted to do was listen to this on repeat for hours.
"Confessing, yeah, eh."
He leaned in closer to the microphone as he sang, his fingers so effortlessly strumming the guitar. He zoned out his friends' cheers.
"Oh I have being shaken, I love it when you go crazy you take all inhibitions, baby there's nothing holdin me back."
His voice and tone was that of dominance to him, like he put his foot down in his words and that this was his true feelings.
"You take me places that tear up my reputation, manipulate my decisions, baby there's nothing holdin be back."
He sang out, strumming his guitar perfectly, he knew he was staring, he knew his friends were trying to talk to him, but he was just so lost in the music he couldn't be bothered to listen to whatever they wanted, it can wait.
"Baby there's nothing holdin me back."
The way he shouts like he's begging for someone to hear, someone to listen to him, someone to enjoy his voice. Bakugou couldn't remember why he was so angry before.
It's like the world melted away with the voice of this person he had to know, he had to listen to him more,
He had to. He was pulled out of his long and so well dazed trance by his friends' cheers as the music stopped."That was amazing!" He heard his pink haired friend cheer.
"He's so manly,"
"He's got guts,"
"I'm your biggest fan,"
And there it was, the finishing piece, the cheery to his cake, the bow to his present, a soft and so meaningful smile.
