Francesca's POV

There you have it people, the real aggressive me, Jake just got my devil's horn out of me, luckily, Julia is there to stop the both of us, but I can tell that she's very mad at me. I've never acted that way before, and I think I startled her. The whole ride towards her house is very quiet, she's not looking at me, and kept playing with the lock on her door.

"Babe, I'm really sorry about what happened earlier." I said as I opened the door for her.

"It's alright, drive safely." She said as she grabs her bag and closed her door.

"I'm not going to get you in your house without talking about this." I said as I stopped her.

"We don't have something to talk about, finals are coming, I need to study." She said.

"Give me 5 minutes." I said.

"Start now, you're wasting your time." She said looking at me coldly.

"Look, I'm so sorry for losing myself earlier, I couldn't handle it anymore, he's over the line, I just don't want you to be treated like that." I said.

"You don't want me to be treated like that, but you're the one who is treating me like that." She said.

"I'm really sorry, I really am, what can I do to make it up to you?" I asked.

"You know what you should do, you're intelligent, you can think about that, go home safely." She said walking in the house and slammed the door on my face. I sighed and walked back to my car and drive back home.

I lied on my bed and thought of how I will make it up to Julia. bouquet of chocolates? But she's on her diet. We can't have dinner also, she doesn't want hiking since it's cold, it's freezing cold if we go swimming. Roses? She doesn't like roses. Damn it.

I decided to work on the balcony for a few minutes while I think of something that can make Julia forgive me. While I was on my daydream, my Dad suddenly called and checked on me.

"Dad, what's up?" I asked coldly.

"Hey France, what are you doing?" He asked.

"Just finishing the needed signature, and thinking about something." I answered.

"What's that look?" He asked.

"Nothing, I'm fine." I said.

"France, I know when you're upset, what's the problem? Work?" He asked.

"No." I said.

"Your girlfriend?" He asked and I didn't answer.

"Come on France, I know it's your girlfriend." He said. He knows about Julia since he's been stalking me online and of course, he sees Julia's posts with me and the pets and he's very cool about it, he never said anything bad about Julia, he even wanted to meet her personally.

"Why is she mad at me? I was just defending her from her ex." I said.

"It's her ex, France, they had a relationship before, they do things before that you're doing with her, they had feelings for each other, I think it's better to leave her ex alone." He said.

"I've been trying to avoid fights, but he's over the line, he's disrespecting Julia like touching her butt in public while I am beside her." I said.

"What you need to do is say sorry, if she's doesn't want flowers or chocolates or dinner, set up a movie, or just talk under the stars." He said.

"Talk under the stars." I said.

"That's what girls like, be cuddled, let your warm body be the heat of their cold hands, wrap blankets around her or borrow her a jacket, just talk about it, and she doesn't want to, don't give up, don't go home until she gives up first, don't let the cold air be the reason why you're giving up." He said.
