Athena had woken to the sound of absolute silence, she found it strange and it made her uneasy because her home was never silence that's when she made her choice, she grabbed her bag, pocketed her saved money and climbed out the window, walking slowly away from the hell she use to call home.
She made it ten miles away from her home in about a good few hours it was Nevada so I was mostly roads and dessert where she lived but she was miles away from that hell hole now as she wept in relief of the sweet feeling of freedom, her body was bruised and aching, her clothes were covered in dried up blood spots and she felt weak and tired but refused to stop walking finally after miles of walking and many countless hours of exhaustion she made it to a small town in California the sigh she read clearly said,"Welcome to Charming California. "
She smiled as she walked to a twenty-four hour diner and sat in a booth, she was so hungry but also very dirty from her long journey after all she did runaway from Nevada to California without a single break.

The waitress walked over to the table with a friendly smile and took her order it was still super early about two or three in the morning to be exact so she ordered an egg, with pancakes, and bacon as well as a glass of orange juice and water.
The waitress came over with her food and placed it on the table then started to spark a conversation, "So long travels?" Athena looked up and replied to her politely, "Yes ma'am I came from Nevada on foot." The woman was shocked as she replied while giving the girl her cell number, "Wow Nevada that's miles from here, running from a crazy lover?" Athena just laughed and said, "Nope my crazy ass family and their club The Silver Crows MC."
The woman made a face at the name of the club they'd had their fair share of run around here in Charming until the Sons ran them out of town she said out loud by accident,"oops im sorry about that sugar, we'll here call me if you need help with anything I can send you to the right people and I'm Anne by the way love!" She smile as Athena took her number and then introduced herself quickly, "Oh wow thank you and I'm Athena....Athena Graceland my dad is..." Before she could cut a word in Anne finished it,"Your
dad's Daniel Graceland and your brother is Jet Graceland. " She spoke of them with disgust in her voice then walked backed to the counter,
Athena stood up and walked to the bathroom to clean herself up a bit better, she needed a place to stay so bad, she wondered how the waitress connected who her father and brother were.

After washing up she walked out to pay for her meal, she asked Anne about the hotel just down the road but Anne replied back to her fast,"Oh hunny don't go there, wait here I'll make a call for you.
Five minutes later Anne walked out smiling, "Okay hun I made a call to some people I know, they'll be happy to take you in and give you a place to call home." Athena smiled at her but was also very nervous, she nearly jumped out of her body when she heard the familiar sounds of Motorcycles as they pulled into the diner lot, she was so overwhelmed that she ran into the kitchen and hid in a small corner space with fear in her head and worry in her heart.
She started to wimper as Anne told the people where she'd ran off to a man with a Scottish accent and another with a bit of and English accent stepped back into the kitchen and began to look for Athena.

Athena tried to steady her breathing as heavy footsteps came towards her but she started to panick and knocked over a whole shelf of boxes, then one of the guys crouched down to look at her,
calling the other man over and talking to him,"Jax look at 'er the poor lass looks beat." The man now know as Jax replied back to who she assumed was the Scottish man, then they looked back at her and Jax reached out a hand,"Here darlin', we ain't here to harm ya."
Athena trembled as she took his hand while he pulled her up, She was suprised when they took a good look at her now that she stood between the two, her body showed signs of abuse and exhaustion, they both took a look at her back and found what looked like a brand marking on her shoulder blade that was a crow and below spelled out Silver Crows , it looked to be about a few days old and was starting to swell up and become infected.

Her legs were bruised and bloody but it was as if she was use to it, her knuckles were red and swollen like she'd punch a wall for hours.
Jax turned to Chibs as the two whispered she just stood there unsure of what to actually do with herself until a voice snapped in, "Hey darlin', come on were takin ya with us." Jax grabbed hold of her arm but just out of spite she tried to pull out of it and Chibs didn't have the patience or time right now to tell her it would be okay so without a word he picked her up in his arms and walked out.
Jax shook his head as Chibs set her down within a snap he spoke, "Aye lass were just tryin to help ya' now enough of this and stop fightin us will ya lass?" She looked up at the tall Scottish man as Jax called over to him,"Aye Chibs brother, let's get her checked out at the clubhouse but first getting her to go with us." The pair nodded and stared at the young girl, she felt afraid because she didn't wanna go back to Nevada not after making it so fat so the only way she ways gonna go anywhere was with trust.
"If I go with you will I be safe? Can I stay will you guys? Or will you throw me back to them?" She asked so many questions but Jax replied back with her answer's, "Ye you can stay, no we won't throw ya back to em' now are we clear to go?"

Athena sensed the distasteful patience of Jax and Chibs but agreed to go with them.
