Aidan has been working a lot recently,and has been ignoring me. Everytime I try to talk to him he shuts me down.so I thought I would go surprise him at work today. I got ready and put on light blue jeans,a white shirt,a black flannel and a black bag with white shoes. I got in my car and drove to to set of the umbrella academy. When I got there David was going on set,and Elliot was talking to Robert. When the noticed me they called me over.
"Hey y/n,what are you doing here?"Elliot said to me. "I wanted to surprise Aidan"I said smiling. "Oh well he is in the hair and makeup trailer. He's up next."Robert said to me. "Thanks,Rob"I said walking to the hair and makeup trailer. I walked in and saw him getting his hair done. "Hey. Baby"I said to him. "Hi "he said waving still looking at his phone. His actions made me frown . "When you're done working,do you want to go to the beach?"I asked him. "No,I have plans"he said still looking at his phone. "Okay" I said slowly. "Well how about tomorrow?"I asked "Jesus!y/n no! Stop being so clingy!" He said looking at me. "Oh sorry, i-im going to go home."I said walking out before he could say anything.

*A week later*

It's been a week since I went to surprise Aidan. I wrote a song and I was going to sing it tonight at a little bar. I was getting ready and I told my best friend to come get me. She was driving and she wanted to hear the song. When we get there I start setting up. A bartender walks up and says "welcome everyone,we have a special guest she is going to be singing a song called one step forward and three steps back." She said walking away. I got up on the stage and started singing.

As I was singing I saw David and Robert in the crowd,they looked at me with sad smiles on their faces.

I finish singing and I get off the stage. I get tackled by a hug from Aidan. He has a tear stained face and is apologizing repeatedly. "Y/n I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel that way" he said putting his face in the crook of my neck. By now I was crying too" how did you know I was going to be here?"I asked him.

"Y/f/n told me and I wanted to see you singing. She told me it was about me and I thought that it was going to be really mean,like on shameless when Gus wrote "the f word" about Fiona" he said laughing a little bit. "I'm sorry bubba"I said running my hand through his hair. "Don't apologize to me. But are we good?"he asked me. "Yeah we are" I told him. "Teens and there mixed moods" Robert said shaking his head.
