It was an early morning in Adventure Bay. Dom was sleeping when Chase arrived in front of his puphouse.

"Hey, Dom," Chase said as he knocked on the closed door. "Time to get up."

Dom's eyes fluttered open as he woke up. He stretched and yawned before the door. "Good morning, Dom," said Chase.

"Morning, Chase," Dom replied. "How are you?"

"I'm good, and you?"

"Good," Dom replied.

"Good, because the breakfast is ready."

Dom's stomach grumbled when he heard the word breakfast. He hadn't eaten much the night before, and it had finally gotten to him.

"Okay, I'll be there in a second," Dom replied.

"Are you okay?" Chase asked.

"Yeah, totally," Dom replied.

Chase's intense amber eyes studied Dom. "Okay, I believe you," he said at last. "Anyway, I still have some others to wake up."

"Okay," Dom said as Chase walked away.

Dom looked at the mirror he had inside in his puphouse. He was a German Shepherd, like Chase. They were both a combination of dark brown fur, with yellowish hair around their snout and paws, but Dom had a more goldish tint to his coat. Chase also had amber eyes, to where Dom had one red-eye and one blue eye. Chase was also slightly taller, making Dom tied with Everest for the second biggest pup on the team. (I know people say Everest is older, so she's taller. But when you look at Chase and Everest next to each other, Chase is noticeably taller.)

Dom walked out of his puphouse and entered the Lookout. He saw that Rocky, Zuma, and Rubble were already eating, leaving only four other food bowls alone. Dom walked up to one of them. The bowl was dark gray with images of hockey sticks, footballs, basketballs, and other sports equipment on its side.

"Good morning, Dom," Ryder said. "How did you sleep?"

"I slept well, Ryder," Dom responded. "Are there any missions today?"

"Not that I know of, so today we will probably relax," Ryder replied.

Dom began eating his food in silence. There was nothing to talk about since it was early in the morning. He kept to himself until Chase walked in with Skye and Marshall by his side.

"Good morning, pups," Ryder said to the three walking in.

"Morning, Ryder," they said in unison as they began eating.

Once everyone finished eating, Chase got up and began walking out.

"Where are you going?" asked Skye.

"I'm going on a patrol," Chase replied. "I want to get some more things done before I leave for Barkingburg."

Dom forgot about that. The day before, the Princess had sent a message to Ryder asking to have Chase guard the crown for a while as she attended to other things. Dom found it awesome that the Princess wanted Chase to protect the crown. He's heard that there was a pup named Sweetie. He's heard that she's always tried to steal the crown. Dom has never met Sweetie, but he knew she was bad news.

"Mind if I tag along?" Skye asked.

Chase smiled. "Sure, let's go," he said.

"Good luck, Chase and Skye," Ryder said. "And be careful."

"Will do, Ryder, sir," Chase said as they walked out.

Dom and the others got up and went to watch the television. After a couple of episodes, they got up and played some Pup Pup Boogie.

Rocky was too tired to play, so Marshall and Rubble went up first. Marshall, being the clumsy pup he was, tripped on his foot. Rubble won that round by default. Up next were Zuma and Dom. After two months, Dom has gotten better at the game, eventually beating Zuma. Dom and Rubble battled for the win. It was a close call, but Zuma ended up winning the game.

They were going to play another game when their pup tags rang. "Paw Patrol, to the Lookout," Ryder said through the comms.

"Ryder needs us," the pups exclaimed. Dom, Rubble, Rocky, and Zuma, entered the elevator before realizing that Marshall hadn't gotten there yet.

"Wait for me," Marshall said. He ran to the elevator as Chase and Skye entered the Lookout. Marshall wasn't looking where he was running, and he ran into them. They rolled into the elevator, causing a dop pile. Marshall made a joke about it, and they laughed as the elevator went up.

The elevator stopped on the second floor for the pups to get changed. Once the team got changed, the elevator continued to the third floor. As the elevator doors opened, they jumped out and got into their spots. Dom was next to Marshall in line, who was in his EMT uniform.

Dom looked down at his uniform. He has used it multiple times in the past few months, but he still felt great in it. He wore a gray hockey helmet over his head. The helmet had two openings for his ears. His vest was a light gray with a darker gray in his abdomen with a light blue line in between the two lines. His pup packs in the shape of a sports bag, but Dom knew that it was more than that. His pup tag contained a hockey stick, football, a basketball, and a baseball, all of them in front of a light blue background. The pup tag hung from a black collar, which was wrapped perfectly around Dom's neck.

"Paw Patrol, ready for action, Ryder, sir," Chase announced as he stomped his paw against the floor. He wore his spy suit instead of his usual police uniform.

"Thanks for coming so quickly, pups," Ryder said. "We have an emergency."

Ryder pressed a button on his pup pad. An image of a cliff on a mountain appeared on the monitor. A group of three deer was hopping around near the edge.

"A family of deer was on the edge of a cliff," Ryder explained. "One of the deer got closer to the side, causing a part of the mountain to collapse off the side of the cliff, taking the deer with it. They're stuck in a ravine too small for them to get out on their own." Ryder waited for the information to settle in.

"For this mission, I'll need Chase," Ryder said. "You will use your winch to pull out the deer and bring them to safety."

"Chase is on the case," Chase exclaimed.

"And Marshall," Ryder continued. "I will need you to be ready in case any of the deer got injured from the fall."

"I'm all fired up," Marshall called out.

"And lastly, Dom," Ryder said, which surprised Dom. "Since Everest is off on a trip with Jake to the Arctic, we will need your help to pull the deer up once they get close enough. You will also help keep them at bay in case they get agitated."

Dom couldn't believe it. He didn't get many missions, being the sports pup, but now he had a big job. He couldn't hold in his excitement. "It's game time for this pup!" Dom exclaimed.

"Alright," Ryder said while pumping his fist in the air. "Paw Patrol is on a roll."
