Once they were inside they sat down and began looking over the menu

      (Atsushi)  "So what do you want go ahead and order what you want. I will pay."

     (Aku) "You don't have to do that"

     (Atsushi) " please I would be grateful if you would let be take this one"

      (Aku) " oh a-alright then"

Atsushi and Aku talked allot while deciding what to get to eat. Deciding what to get was a little difficult because Aku kept getting distracted by the cats

Once they finally decided on what to get they ordered and it was not long before there food was ready.

After they finished eating they talked some more about this and that. It was mostly about light hearted and funny stuff. Somehow Dazai even
Came up in conversation.

Normally Aku would jet competitive when Dazai came up I a talk but not this time. This time Aku was too busy listening to Atsushi's voice. He kept thinking about how he had got here

Aku ~pov~ _________________________————————————————————————

I still can't believe this is real. Today has been like a dream. It was a total coincidence that me and him wor not only off on the same day but that we were at the same park at the same time and we happened to run into each other.

Without realizing it Aku had been spacing for a while. Atsushi saw this so he walked up behind Aku who was sitting on a bench with no back board, watching the cats fight over a toy, and wrapped his arms around Aku's waist. Atsushi then set his head on Ryu's shoulder. Ryu subconsciously relax into the pleasant feeling and they stayed like that for at least 10 min. Before Atsush broke the silence and said

     (Atsushi) "Ryu are you spacing out on me again?"

     (Aku) "Wh-what"

At this point Aku was a blushing mess for the millionth time today.

    (Aku) " I-I-I-I"

     (Atsushi)  "hehehe😊 come i think that the people that work here want to go home"

     (Aku) ??

Aku then looked at the clock on the wall and saw that is was 10:48 and the shop closes at 10:00.

After they left they decided to walk around alittle because it was a beautiful night.

     (Aku) "Hey Atsushi"

     (Atsushi) " Just call me sushi"

     (Aku) " Realy?"

     (Atsushi) "ya after all I am not going to stop calling you Ryu. It is only far you gave a pet name for me to."

     (Aku) "o-oh o-ok s-sushi"

     (Atsushi) "there that's better"

     (Aku) "s-sushi look"

     (Atsushi) " hu woh.!"

They had come full circle and were back where they started they were on the balcony/ledge look over the lake. The moon was full and was directly over head. It was reflecting off the lake making the lake seem to glow with a mythical light. The only thing you could hear was the cicadas lightly chirping and the splashing in the water from the fountain.

They were just here this morning but it already seemed like it was so long ago and this place seemed so perfect and peaceful it was as if it had never been touched by anyone. This is when they both knew this place was special at least for them.

Then Aku remembered what his sister told him.

(Gin) "Don't worry I won't tell. I will leave that part to you.

I guess this is probably the most perfect chance I will ever get I couldn't even plan anything better so. OH GOSH HELP ME!!

(Aku) "H-hey S-sushi"

(Atsushi) " Yes"

(Aku) " C-can i tel you something"

(Atsushi) "You can tell me anything"

Atsushi then grabbed Aku hand and looked him in the eyes worth the most caring look Aku had ever seen. That gave him the confidence boost he needed to get the word out

(Aku) " I lik- no I love you!!"

There was a bread moment of silence but before Aku could say anything else he felt a par of are wrap around his wast and pull him closer to the one he had just confessed to. Then withithout him telling it to Aku body wrapped it arms around Atsushi's neck and Atsushi whispered something in Aku ear

(Atsushi) "looks like you beat me to it"

(Aku) "huh?"

(Atsushi) "I have been wanting to confess all day but I was waiting for the right moment, here it is and you beat me to it."

Before anything else could happen Aku felt a pair of soft yet firm lips on his and he immediately relaxed into the kiss and kissed back knowing it was the one person who he adored.

After a few minutes they reluctantly parted for a necessary breath of air.

     (Atsushi) "So I guess it is safe to call you my boyfriend"

The only thing Aku could manage was a nod.

     (Atsushi) "come on it's late I will walk you home."

    (Aku) " you don't have to do that isn't your appointment the other way"

    (Atsushi) " I don't care this gives me an excuse to spent more time with you. Unless you don't want me to"

    (Aku) "No-Yes wa-a- *breaths * "I would love it if you walked me home"

Atsushi slowly unwrap him arms from Aku's wast took his hand in his and they started the walk back to Aku's and his sister's home.
