What is the point of even going to school when you wont need half of the things you learn? Why waste your life on shit you wont remember for more than 2 days?.
The bell went so I tried rushing out of the bathroom before the no-good-fake-barbies came to do their hair, makeup & stuff. But obviously they must have some kind of super power because they always get here before I could go. there were about six of them, but usually there are about ten or even more. They all gave me dirty looks, I wish I could smack the shit out of the fakest, her name is Jasmine and she has short dip dyed hair and shes quit short but also annoying. She is one of Beths bestfriends and I am surprised.
''Oh, its Beths dog.'' Jasmine raised her eyebrows and laughed with the other girls. I tried to get out but they were all stopping me.
'' What do you want Jasmine!'' I raised my voice at her while trying to get out.
''Nothing, well maybe there is something.'' she came face to face with me.
'' Why would I help you?'' I said taking a big breath.
'' Because... Its really important... And it means alot to me!'' she said worried for some reason. '' And you're the only one that can!''
I tried to get out but she stopped me.
'' Fine!-'' I was cut off by her.
'' Yay! Meet me in the schools car park at 4:30 right after the bell!'' She clapped her hands fast and constantly with a loud and sharp giggle, then they let me go. I swung the door open and walked out to the hallway and I saw Beth talking to someone. But when I got there that person was gone.
"Hey Lour, where have you been?" She sees the angry look on my face and she just steers blankly at me.
"Your 'best friend' wanted to talk to me." I said while we were walking outside for lunch.
"With you?" She gave me a weird look as she was waving back at some people. I nodded back as a answer, then we found a empty bench and sat on it.
" Aye yo Bethany lemme get your number!" A 10th grader shouted.
"In your dreams Rick!" She faced away. " Why did she want to talk to you though?"
"I don't know, she said it was something important..." I looked at her while getting my pack lunch out. Before Beth could say anything I realised I was supposed to meet up with Tina.
"I got to go to the canteen really quick" I said packing everything up.
"Sure you can leave your bad here with me-"I cut her of as I started running towards the football field. I threw my bag over the fence and climbed over, grabbed my bag and started walking towards their hideout, as I got closer I could see smoke coming out from behind a bush and a load of laugher. I think they heard my footsteps because they stopped talking and the smoke suddenly stopped.
"Lour is that you?" I heard Tina shout.
"Yeah!" I shouted back and ran towards them. they were all sitting on the floor smoking and talking.
"Guess who wanted to talk to me ?" I said sliding in between Tina and her boyfriend. she pulled a curious face at me.
"The walking barbie" I said getting my apple out.
"No way!" Tina looked at me with a huge smile on her face and raised eyebrows.
"Yeah, she wants me to help her with some shit after school." I said while taking a bite out of my apple.
"Probably homework." Tina's boyfriend said while making smoke rings.
"I don't think so, she said it was important for her." I said. We were all quiet for a few moments until I decided to head back to school. Once I got there I saw Beth talking to the Fake barbie so I tried to hide but Beth somehow saw me.
"Lourdes!" I heard Beth scream so everyone stopped and looked at her then at me. I just stood there embarrassed by her, once again!. I walked over to her table and all the barbies smiled at me.
"Sit." jasmine pointed next to her, so I sat down. she's scary as fuck.
"Okay girls so we're planning my sweet 16 party!" Jasmine said all in one breath, everyone clapped and giggled expect for me. Why does she need me for her birthday party?.
"So, I've decided that the theme is circus." she smiled and all the girls agreed.
"There's gonna be acrobats and loads of cool stuff!"
"And a huge tent!"beth said.
"Can I say something?" I said scared, Jasmine nodded.
" 1. How are you gonna fit a tent in your backyard?" They all looked at each other." 2. I don't think the acrobat idea is good. And 3. I think you should do a normal party." I explained.
"I guess she's right." Jasmine said looking down." but still-" the bell rang.
"Meet me by the car park at 4:30 Lori!" She said as she was walking to lesson. No way did she just call me Lori! I hate when people call me Lori.
