"so.. Thoma I've got to get going now, my mom will be mad at me if I go home late again.."

"Ah yes.. we don't want your mother to be worrying at this time, I'll see you tomorrow?"

"I don't know about that but, if we bump to each other again yeah you'll see me"

you giggle softly as you go back to your household,

The next day, it was a sunny morning once again a great day to swim on refreshing water, only if you were approved to go outside. But then again even if you want to enjoy a nice rest, you still have lots of commissions to do.

"Y/n, I have news," your mother said in a soft voice

"What is it, mother? is there something wrong?"

she went silent for 2 mins and left a letter at your desk, you read the letter and your eyes went wide after reading who wrote this letter.

It was your dear teacher Alice, she wrote a permission slip for you to go outside and help her explore Mondstadt, only Mondstadt. You were so excited but wondered if your mom really approved of this.. you knew she worries so much because of the troubles you did when you were younger, you ran to your mother and told her that you'll be ok whenever you're with Alice.

She trusted your words and agreed to let you travel, you're a teenager anyway, some things need to be learned in order to mature right? 

Alice told you that you'll be starting to explore with her by tomorrow, She'll be teaching you basic fighting skills to improve protecting yourself and your mom whether bad things happen. You knew there were enemies from the outside, of course, you'd need to protect some people memorable to you.

You were being too cheerful that you're finally meeting Alice after so many years of her absence, But your face changed to a different emotion after noticing your killing time, you still had commissions... You rushed to the adventurers guild and grab the list of your commissions for the day.

"ugh... why do I have to do this much work again.."

"aha, did I disturb you?"

You flinched by the sudden voice you recognized beside you, 

"O-oh... It's just you Thoma, you scared me haha"

"I didn't mean to scare you aha.."

"What bring you here with a bunch of maps?" Thoma said

"Oh! I'm just trying to memorize the parts of Mondstadt since I'm meeting Alice tomorrow, she's going to teach me things from the outside of the city."

"That's cool! wish I'd be able to hang out with you more.."

"Don't be sad, we're completely called friends that picture we took ill savor it, I never had a picture with someone for years aha... never got the money for a camera"

"H-hey, what if I let you borrow this camera for a while, I neither use it anyways, you might need it for your adventures."

"Thanks, Thoma." You looked at Thoma with a smile, And he got flustered on how your eyes looked beautiful with the flowers in the background, but reality snaps. 

"Thoma? are you ok?"

"O-oh i-im fine Y/n, Uh well ill get going I have other businesses to do"
