He took the laptop from me
"Liam...." I said with irritation
"Bro please, I know you are sad but at least focus on your health too. In just a week you look like a mess. Not for yourself but at least for me, please" he pleaded while sitting beside me on the couch
I didn't say anything and kept quiet suddenly he hugged me
I hugged him back and we just sat there for sometime
"I know bro you never share your feelings, you never tell anyone how are you feeling, after mom dad's death you are so closed off but sometimes it's good to share your feelings. You'll feel light"

"Ok Mr. Scholar if your lecture is finished so can I work now or my boss will eat me alive." I joked
He pulled away and rolled his eyes

"Ok leave and go to your room to study"
"Yes boss and please have your food" he salutes me and went

I turned towards my work and sighed

The next day, I went to work, just a week left in ma'am's marriage
As the time is bearing, I'm feeling more suffocated. I just want to run away but I can't

"My schedule," she said without looking at me
"You have 3 meetings today and you have to go to the designer for your wedding dress," I said lowly in the end
"Ok, so about the meeting, are the files ready, have you rechecked it?"
"Yes ma'am they are ready, I'll show you, and ma'am there is some problem with Mr. Jones work, I feel like there is a loophole in the contract," I told her
"Show me the files" I showed her and there was a loophole
