Part 5

Raven was crying after seeing that memory again and feeling helpless again but she still had her gun held strong. 'Wanda what did you do? Why is she crying?' Natasha asked concerned. 'Who was that? Who was screaming?' Wanda asked. Raven didn't reply she just looked at Natasha. Natasha was slowly catch on to the memory that Raven saw. 

Only Steve seemed to notice Raven looking at her, 'why are you looking at Natasha?' Wanda was putting the dots together, 'Was that Natasha screaming?' Raven ignored both their questions and asked Natasha once again, 'Please come with me. I don't want to do this but I can't fail.' 'Raven why do you still work for them? Why don't you leave?' Raven sighed, 'just come with me please.' 'You know I can't do that. I won't-' Natasha was cut off by Raven's phone ringing. She brought it out of her pocket and saw that Melina was calling. 'Are you seriously going to take that right now?!' Tony asked. Raven didn't answer she just picked up the call and put the phone to her ear. 

'Melina what's going on? I am literally stood in front of the avengers right now.' 'Raven she still hasn't calmed down. It's just getting worse.' 'Nothing's helped?' Raven asked. 'No, nothing. She is in bits you need to come back.' 'I can't do that if I go back with a failed mission then he'll kill her.' Raven said. 'I will make sure he doesn't just please come back she needs you.' Melina pleaded. 'OK I'll be there soon bye.' Raven replied and hung up then turned her attention back to the avengers. 'Who was that?' Steve asked. 'No one.' 'Did you say Melina?' Natasha questioned. 'Yes, I did.' 'She's at the red room?' Natasha asked. 'Yes, but now I have to go.' She said turning to walk out the tower only to be stopped by Tony. 'Ah, ah, ah. Not so fast.' 'Just let me go.' 'In the middle of a fight? No way.' Tony retaliated. 'Please she needs me.' Raven pleaded. 'Who needs you?' Wanda spoke up. 'My daughter please let me go.' 'You have a daughter? What about the red room's graduation?' Steve asked confused. 'She's not biologically mine now can I go.' 

'Stark let her go.' Wanda warned. 'She's the enemy why would I let an enemy walk free?' Tony asked confused turning his back to Raven. While Tony's back was turned, she snuck out the door and called for the jet. When the jet turned up, she got in quickly and flew away. When she was on the jet the pilot turned to her, 'Where's black widow?' 'Not coming just focus on flying.' She responded with her head in her hands. 15 minutes later they arrived at the red rooms base. The jet landed and she ran inside to Melina's room. 

She burst in and saw Willow very badly struggling to breathe with her back against the wall tears streaming down her face. She was in her own world she hadn't noticed Raven walk in. 'How long has she been like that?' Raven asked turning to Melina. 'Since you left.' Raven gave a slight nod and walked over and sat next to Willow. 'Hey sweetie.' Raven said softly almost in a whisper. Willow looked up, 'Mommy?' 'Yeah, it's me.' Raven replied and hugged Willow. Willow hugged back and after 10 minutes her breathing started to normalise and then she fainted. Raven put Willow's head in her lap and turned to Melina, 'Hey do you mind getting a cold flannel.' 'Yeah sure. Did she faint?' 'Yeah, they tire her out.' Raven shouted to Melina as she was in the other room. Melina walked back into the room and handed the flannel to Raven. 'Thanks.' Raven said turning her focus to Willow.
