Some of yall bout to be real mad at me <3. But since a new chapter I hoped to be ready in December still isnt released yet, here is some backstory about SOME of the boys. I'll try not to give away too many spoilers for where I hope the story to go, BUT I will make it clear enough that it's not weird and confusing. A little bit of a teaser i guess. A lil behind the scenes action ;) Ok i'm rambling now so imma get into ittt!
Jimin had a sad childhood. Not because his parents mistreated him or he had no friends, no nothing quite as simple as that. If anything, he wished it would've rather been like that compared to his cruel reality. He never knew his parents, hell, he didn't even know if they remembered him, chose to abandon him on purpose or if they died in a ditch somewhere. All he knew was that he blamed and despised them for leaving him alone in such a brutal world. At the young age of 9, he was forced to live a life of poverty which always resulted in kids like him getting involved in crime. Mainly it was petty theft. Whether it was eating the rotting food out of peoples trash, picking pockets of strangers on the streets or just outright stealing bread or fruit from street vendors in plain sight, running as fast as he could in order not to get caught. He couldn't afford to be picky. Any food was valuable to him, if he was picky, he would die. The other times would be when kids like Jimin would help out criminal groups in order to get a nights worth of shelter and a loaf of mouldy bread. However, they would be lucky to only get this. Jimin wasn't so lucky. The bandits who had promised to give him some food in return of helping them to ambush and rob a rich nobleman by leading him into an alley was completely blown off. What he got instead was being turned into merchandise for the bandits and selling him to nobles as a slave. His miserable life which he thought couldn't get any worse became hell until he hit his teenage years and luckily escaped. Why did they do this? Because they thought he was pretty for a young boy who would sell for quite a lot, and wanted some extra money. Let's just say, Jimin has never been as foolish as to trust people again. That was until he met Captain Namjoon. Now, he's hungry for something else other than food... He wants revenge.
Taehyung, on the other hand, had quite the lucky life as a kid. Being born as the first and eldest Prince in a far off kingdom meant he was treated with respect since young and received many expensive gifts beyond imagination. He had a place to sleep, delicious meals cooked and served to him everyday and loving parents who were proud of him and expected him to rule the country as a kind yet fair King in the future. However, others with some power didn't like that idea. As humans, once we get a taste of power, we become greedy and self-entitled. It's like being possessed. These said humans were the ones Taehyung had hoped to rule and confide in once he became King. They were meant to be his most trusted vassals and yet they betrayed him. An elaborate plan which framed him for committing numerous monstrosities in the country. Those he once called friends had began to look at him with disgust, those hungry for gossip and power saw him as a joke and took this chance to slander him every time they could. His country, the people he swore to one day look over and protect, hated him with every ounce of being in their soul. But worst of all, his parents. He was exiled, stripped of his title and everything that made him "Taehyung" vanished with just a few words from his father. They saw him as a stain on the family tree. But just like Jimin, he now wants revenge. Not just on those who betrayed him and spread lies, but plans on making the whole country suffer. In the end, it was his to rule. It always has been his. And if they see him as a monster, why shouldn't he act the part and truly give them something to fear? It's what they created after all...
The quiet yet ruthless Yoongi had a pretty bland past. He grew up in a normal family, was lucky enough to get a job despite his humble background and just overall had an average life. However, his parents wanted more from him. They had made strict plans for him and aimed to get him a position in the noble world as they were already seen as too old and were unable to do it themselves. It didn't matter whose life they destroyed in order to get to get to the top. Not even their own son's. What they didn't know, however, was that Yoongi had a passion for music. And he was talented at it too. He would work in secret as a musical entertainer in places from local bars to busking on the street. He could nearly make any object he found by random into an instrument and this is what brought attention to him. This was a past time that truly made him happy. If he wasn't making music, he was either sleeping or obeying his parents every whim. This was until... well, any further explanation would spoil his character too much so let's just say his parents found out and they very blatantly hated this. One thing lead to another and he was outcasted. He was making music one day at the harbour and Namjoon had been so impressed he invited him to join his crew. Of course, he never partook in the violence at first. But he never intervened and tried to put some half-hearted self-righteous morals on a group of pirates. He eventually saw the benefits in said violence and even found it to be a great stress reliever (as horrible as it sounds). After all, he had been repressed and forced to do everything his parents wished since young, hardly ever complaining. Ever since, Yoongi had never felt so free and able to be himself around others until he joined Namjoon's group.
The Captain Namjoon had a *(%oK! childhood. He never wanted to ?????? nor did he ever want to be like his *"^()!?>. Despite this, he became a pirate. Maybe one worse than "(!^!()_"&%. There is not much else to be said about Namjoon as even his birth was made to be a secret. Raised without love, he taught himself everything he knows now. Even how to be ruthless and never show his weak side to anyone. The only people he trusts are his crew mates who could even be described as his brothers.
Im sorry but I had no other ideas. A 7.5 chapter sounds really dumb but Im still tryna figure out chapter 8. I know I promised it soon but it's hard man. Well hope u enjoyed this lil...thing i did. All I can say is that they all have a strong hate for nobles or the feeling of being controlled. Have a nice day, evening. <3
