I walked in ready to work. Touka stared at me coldly like her brother used to in aoigori.
She walked toward me and spat leaving the room in awkward silence. I noticed nishiki cleaning the dishes quitely while Mr. Shuu continued sipping his coffee.

I wonder if touka found out about me and shuu. I gulped and shook my head.
I stirred the coffee nervously.
"Kaneki!" Shuu yelped and I spilled the hot coffee on my clothes.

"Shit" I muttered the coffee stung me and I broke a teacup.

"Oi you better clean that up kaneki" nishki handed me a broom and look down at my clothes "your such a mess you idiot" he chuckled.

I rolled my eyes and cleaned up the fragments of what used to be a teacup.
There was someone behind me cleaning my stained clothes.

"My my your quite the mess this isnt the first stain I've seen from you before kaneki kun" he smirked and dabbed the coffee stains off my uniform.
I sigh and slowly continue sweeping.
In less than 10 minutes I finished sweeping and changed into a new uniform that we kept spare in the employee room.

"Auvior everyone!" Shuu left the café with a strange aura.
"Nishki touka is acting quite strange" he stops what he's doing and doesn't reply.
Its almost as if someone had told them about me and shuu, but who could have possibly told them I held m breath about it I told no living soul.

"Leave touka alone...she's tired of looking out for you if you wanna screw up by yourself be my guest but don't fuck with touka she's so worried about you and all you do is keep making her worried" nishki throws a dish at me but I catch it before it breaks and I have to clean another broken piece of china.

"Alright...I'll talk to her" my heart feels like its about to explode out of my chest as I knock on her door.

I open the door to find her asleep on her bed, her room is filled of drawings of bunnies and exam reviews.

"How do I tell you this touka...but I think we should just be friends...our relationship is best that way" I know she can hear me because her eyes are half open. "Kaneki..." she mumbles I brush her hair with my fingers and slowly left her room.

I really did think touka and I were best just as friends, besides I began to love shuu slowly and if she fund out it would break her heart and I didn't want to deal with her crying.
I finished my shift and wandered throughout the streets of tokyo.
Such a big place.
I wanted to drink some coffee I was quite hungry and I refused to eat anymore humans I didn't want to eat them.

I found juzo sitting on the swing in the park humming to himself.
Shit what is he doing here now.

"Kaneki! Oi !" He waved stupidly as I glanced at him.
Just talking to him was weird.
Kaneki you dumbass why would you look at him.

I feel a blade next to my neck
"Good evening!~" he smiled..
