Rose POV

"I think we should go shopping" I was talking to my twin sister.
"Can we shop for basketballs?" Maddie, my twin, asked me.
"No you idiot" I said rolling my eyes at her. She can be such a moron.
All my sister likes to do is sports.
Basketball, tennis, baseball, soccer, football, volleyball and even golf.
All I like to do is be a girl. I'm not saying that Maddie is a boy, but she's a tomboy.
I shop, do makeup, do nails, and text my friends. Anything that's trending on Twitter, I know about it In a second. The only trends Maddie knows about is who won the Super Bowl or the Knicks beat the Yankees. Whatever I think I got that wrong. I think the Knicks are basketball and the Yankees are baseball!! See who cares about that stuff??
Well ok so basically now we were bored and wondering what to do today. It was a rainy cloudy day so Maddie couldn't play basketball or I couldn't text my friends. Because the power had run out because of the storm. "Call your friends" Maddie suggested. "My phone has no power remember?" I told her. But than I remembered my friends and I bought a backup phone is case of an emergency. I think this was an emergency. I was bored to death listening to my sister talk about football. "When He made the slam dunk it was the-" I cut my sister off "be right back" I said and ran upstairs to get my emergency phone. I quickly dialed my friends. It rang 3 times when I heard someone pick up. "Hey rose what's up?" One of my best friends, Sarah, said to me. "Nothing much, wanna go to the mall?" I asked her?
"Sorry I can't I'm out with Sabrina" she told me apologizing. "Ok see you later" I told her than hung up. Sabrina was her annoying 8 year old sister. I called my other friend, Jessica. "Hey Jess" I said when she picked up. "Hey rosy what's going on?" She sounded so upbeat. Jessica can change anyone's mood from bad to good in a minute. "Nothing wanna go to the mall?" I asked her. "Sorry I can't I'm with Jack." She told me. Jack was her boyfriend. "Ok see u" I Told her and hung up.
I called one more friend. I was desperate. "Hey Amy" I said when she answered. "Hey Rose" she said. "Wanna go to the mall?" I asked her. I hope I didn't sound too hopeful. "I would love to but I'm out with Harry." She told me. Harry was her boyfriend.
"Ok bye" I said and hung up. Well that's it. I guess I don't have a choice but to listen to Maddie ramble on and on about sports. But when I went downstairs, there was a note on the counter.

Hey Rose,
I went out with Scarlett to indoor basketball court. I'll see u later. Enjoy the mall with Amy, Sarah, and Jessica.

"Well" I said putting the Note down. "I have got to get myself a boyfriend."
