An alternate Earth where its inhabitants were going about their normal day when none of them were aware or even prepared for the ominous fate that was to befall onto them.
Lightyears away and traveling at light speed was a huge dark blue and spiritual vortex mass that dwarfed every planet in the solar system, including Jupiter. A cold and horrid echo filled the vacuum of space despite there not being any sound in space. It passes through the other planets as it had no interest in consuming planets that do not sustain life.
No, its next course was the planet Earth filled with billions of sentient life alike.
The human civilization was an advanced species that progress ahead of the 21st century economy and agriculture. At a a laboratory of a university, a young student is mixing chemicals into a test tube and swirls it, observing how it changed color when the cabinets, other empty test tubes, and for that matter the entire building began to tremble violently. Objects fell to the floor.
Everyone occupant ran out the building where other people were outside and glancing up the bright and sunny skies when they darken. Everything becomes gloomy and a harsh storm picks up.
"What is that?" Someone asked, pointing upward.
Suddenly trees begin to be ripped out from their roots and fly upward, along with vehicles, pets, ground itself, and people! The panic starts. People screamed as they tried running only there was nowhere else to run as the entire surface of the planet was face-to-face with the jaws of death and consumed into an eternal abyss.

The massive vortex suctions everything into its maw. Manifesting from its being were tendrils that struck the planet, ramming into the ground and going straight for the core. It pierced the Earth's core and began to siphon from it.
The only choice people can do was run and scream. Airplanes or aircraft carriers were pulled up, including the ocean. Half of the planet was devoured.
Back on the remaining half, a gorgeous young woman with long auburn hair, azure blue-colored eyes, with a curvy body who wore a simple blue dress shirt and dark jeans was running while reciting motivating words to keep running like hell! "Gotta move! Gotta move! Gotta move!" She frantically shouts. She digs into her jacket and pulls out a silver ring with a pale gemstone on it and puts it on. "Oh Amara's name its coming!" She arrived at an apartment and rushes upstairs where people were ducking for cover or hiding in their apartment rooms, not that it will do any good as they will be consumed by the monster.
