Eyyyooooooo it's my birthday today so I decided to update.

Now that Eryn has met her soulmates, sleeping alone in her bed with just her childhood teddy bear seemed like a Herculean effort. After about an hour of tossing and turning and nowhere near closer to sleep than when she started, she got up to go to the kitchen to fetch the melatonin. At this rate, Eryn figured drugs were the only thing that could get her to sleep without her mates. Sure enough, 30 minutes later, Eryn was sleeping harder than a rock.

When they got back to the tower, they talked about meeting their mate's parents and how understanding they seem to be. Being their only child - and a girl at that - they were expecting helicopter parent behavior from at least one of them. They counted their blessings and decided they were not going to betray the parents trust and sneak behind their backs into their daughter's bedroom at night. It was a very difficult decision with lots of arguing involved but was ultimately decided as the best plan for the future with their mate. After all, they waited this long without her, what's two more weeks?

After they all went to their rooms, they each quickly realized none of them were able to sleep with the knowledge of who and where their last mate is. Staying together seemed to soothe the ache, and melatonin helped them actually fall asleep.

One thing the Avengers and Eryn all thought before falling asleep was 'it's going to be a really long two weeks.'

The next morning, Eryn awoke to her mom banging on the door.

"Eryn, wake up if you want French toast for breakfast!" She hollered before moving to the kitchen.

With the promise of French toast, Eryn moved with a new vigor and dressed just enough to be presentable to the rest of the house. She traded her booty shorts for pj pants, slid on her kitten patterned fuzzy socks, and put a hoodie over her shirt. Eryn entered the kitchen to the smell of freshly made French toast, bacon, and eggs.

"Good morning, do we have any plans for today?" Eryn asked her parents as her eyes locked on the food, almost drooling at the sight of the delicious food she was going to consume.

"Not in particular, unless you wanted to stop by the store today for condoms," her dad said mischievously knowing the face his daughter would make at his comment.

Proving him correct, Eryn had a horrified face and was no longer focused on the food as she tried to fight nausea at the thought of buying condoms with her parents.

"Oh stop it, James!" Her mom exclaimed, "he's just messing with you, hun. If anything we'll research good brands beforehand and we'll give you money to go out and get the condoms yourself."

Her mother had served breakfast by then and Eryn had been chewing on a piece of French toast when she had said that, therefore causing the massive coughing fit Eryn was now having. With a bright red face, Eryn begged her parents to drop the topic and asked if she could hang out with her mates today. Of course her parents agreed and invited them over for dinner one night when she was comfortable with having them over again. So once breakfast was over, Eryn rushed to her room to text her mates and get ready for their day out.
