Recently I've noticed a change in Shrek's behavior. He's been oddly floaty. I was thinking he might have a crush but then I remembered he's married. I was feeling a little curious so I texted him.

Hey bestie, I was thinking we could stop by the diner in metro city? Sent 9:03 am

We planned to meet at 12

I sat at the diner anticipating the shreks arrival. He showed up at twelve-thirty five.

"Hey, what did you want to meet up about?" shrek asked

"I'm gonna cut it short, I'm worried about you. You've seemed distant, and quiet." I said to shrek worriedly. "I wanna know why or if anything, what I can do to help you."

Shrek's eyes darted around the room, a blush rose to his cheeks and he took a deep breath.

"I've realized that i've fallen in love with someone other than my wife." he confessed his eyes staying focused on the dirty diner floor.

My mouth fell a gap, he could read the shocked expression on my face

"And i don't know what to do, i just don't feel a connection with Fiona anymore." he spit out as tears rushed down his face.

"Well I think first you should calm down, maybe get a tissue, then you should tell Fiona." I spoke softly so as to not upset him.

He nodded his tears, forming a puddle on the table. I looked down at my watch and saw a text from Elizabeth saying that I needed to get home.

"Well the- Elizabeth just texted saying I should get home, remember if you need anything just text or call me okay."

Shrek looked up and for a moment I saw fear in his eyes. He looked away from me and nodded his head. I picked up my things and left.

Shrek's pov

After all the events of today I just needed to lay down and take a nap. I got a taxi home. Once I stepped through the door, grief overcame me, I walked to my room in a zombie-like trance and flopped on my bed.

After a few moments of laying down I passed out. I woke up a few hours later from a buzzing,my phone. I rolled my eyes. I really didn't talk to anyone, but as i looked over and saw a text notification from Megamind i sat up and opened my phone.
