FIVE

"Are you sure you're still sane, Min?" Giselle asked when only the two of them are left inside their room, other students already going to their club.

Winter glared at her friend for her statement, before sighing.

"I want to quit."

"Loser."

Minjeong leaned down on her desk, head on her arms. Energy's drained to entertain her best friend.

"Come on, it's not that bad! Stop being dramatic." the Japanese slap her shoulder as Minjeong sat properly on her seat again, slumping her back on the chair.

The latter look at her dead in the eyes before saying, "Aeri, my body is sore. I should have not let my gayness take over."

Giselle laugh at her situation. A week had passed already and her little friend still can't get used to being in a club almost all the time. The festival week is coming and so the dance club is busy preparing for that. The timing couldn't be more perfect when Winter decided to join them. And what's her reason again? Yeah, She really shouldn't have had the gayness take over her.

"Have Yeji told you about the party later?"

Winter, after hearing that, seemed to gain her energy back. Now interested about what her best friend is saying. Aeri smirk at her, her change of pace is too obvious.

"Where?" she said, pretending to be not interested about the answer she will get. And when Giselle just stared at her smugly, purposely delaying her reply, Winter just rolled her eyes and urged her to respond already.

"At Hwang's, of course."

If Minjeong is a dog, her ears might've been standing proud, attentive and excited on what she just heard.

"We will go." the younger said before she can even realize it.

"Min, hey." a knock and a voice muffled from outside Minjeong's room. She's currently browsing through her dozens of plaid jackets in her closet. Choosing carefully what she will wear for later.

She left the pair of plaid she picked best on her bed before opening her door and seeing her brother standing on the other side of it.

"Why?" she answered, confused why Yeonjun knocked on her door with his puppy-like expression.

"Do you have anything to do later?"

This question caused Winter to furrow her eyebrow. "Not really. Is there something you want me to do?"

Her brother shook his head. "She's coming over for dinner. Mom's aware of it so she'll come home before night." Yeonjun's smile almost occupy his whole face.

"Who's she?" but Minjeong is just oblivious.

"The girl I'm courting. I told you that you will meet her soon, right?"

Minjeong let out an "oh" before scratching her brow. She have to go out later, what a great coincidence.

"I'm sorry, oppa. I'll be going somewhere with Aeri later. I might not be able to stay until she arrive." she apologized. She can't risk not going to that party knowing that there's a big chance she will see the person that's been in her mind since last week.

"Damn. It's alright, Min. I'll make sure that you'll see each other next time." even though the disappoinment's kind of obvious in his voice, he managed to smile at Minjeong and bump a fist with her before returning downstairs.

Winter sighed and uttered another apology in her mind. Of course she wants to meet the girl he's courting too, but, here we go again with the gayness taking over, she wants to see Yoo Jimin more.
