Chapter 24: Aish! My Poor Heart...

(Author POV)

Her breath was ripped from her lungs and the air was thick as she gasped. Weight rested on her chest and the only way that seemed to get it out of her is to scream.  Jin, oh, Jin.

Sehun couldn't help but to feel bad for the girl too. As he wiped Jin's tears, she tucked his hand and started running back to the meetup place. She caught up with the lead agent and his crew and asked him if it would be okay for them to drop her off at home.

~After a while~

When Jin came back home, she instantly went to her room. She had a headache from her non stop crying. So as soon as she lay in bed dozed off. Meanwhile the boys and Iseul we're coming back home and all of them excluding Sehun, we're shocked when they heard from him that Jin ran away.

"But i know the cause..." Sehun started talking. "WHAT?!" Kris asked worried about his dongsaeng. Sehun frowned as he looked at Jongin, which made Jongin's eyes extend. "She saw Jongin and Iseul kissing." Sehun said almost in a whisper. "What?!" Suho asked.

"She saw Jongin and Iseul kissing." He said yet again in a whisper. "Look, Sehun do you know or not. If you do SPEAK UP!!" Kris yelled. "SHE SAW JONGIN AND ISEUL KISSING!!" Sehun blurted out and then lowered his head down.

Jongin couldn't believe it. He looked at Iseul as she looked back at him, when their eye contact ended you could see the smirk Iseul had on her face. "DID YOU TAKE HER THERE?" Jongin yelled at the maknae.

"NO I DIDN'T! She was worried about you, so we both went looking for our partners..." He stopped as he glared at Iseul. "but I guess our partners found themselves first." Jongin was about to punch Sehun when he came back to his senses and stopped. What am I doing? He thought.

He saw how Sehun coverd himself up to protect him from Jongin's punch, but as soon as Sehun didn't feel anything he droped his hands. "Why didn't you tell me sooner Sehun-ah?" Jongin was stressed out. His hands were in his hair, his eyes closed and he was thinking hard how to fix what he just did.

"Where is Jin?" Minseok asked after he glared at Iseul and Jongin. "I dont know she ran back to the meetup place and so did I, after her. But when I got there she was gone." The maknae answered. "She went with the lead agent probably. Their van wasn't there when we got back." Chanyeol said something smart for the first time.

They nodded their heads and after that they all stopped talking. The van stopped in front of their house. Jongin walked out, or more like stormed out of the van and unlocked their door. He ran up to Jin's room. He opend it loudly, but his angry face disappeared when he saw how peacefully she was sleeping.

Jongin walked to her while he dropped his blazer. He knelt down to her bed and started caressing her head and also her hair. He noticed Jin's traces of her crying and felt like crying himself. "I'm sorry Jin." Jongin kissed her lips and then rubbed them.

"Jongin. Let Jin rest a little." Chen informed Jongin as he stood up, looked at her for the last time before going to the living room. Downstairs, Baekhyun, Lay and Kyungsoo were the only ones awake, watching TV. "Hyungs what have I done?" Jongin said.

Of course, Jongin knew the right time to talk about his problems in front of the 'genius' Baekhyun who can only make the situation worse. "Well, you screwed up that's for sure. But there's only one thing we can say now..." Jongin looked at his hyung and was curious what he was gonna say. 

"Kkaebsong!" Baekhyun yelled like a rooster. Jongin face palmed himself as Kyungsoo glared at Baekhyun and pushed him aside from Jongin. "It'll be okay Jongin. Don't worry about it okay. Now go to sleep will talk about it tomorrow."

~Next day~

At school no one dared to speak to Jin, again, except maknae fellows Sehun and Tao. Jongin has been trying to talk to her since morning, but Jin was acting like he didn't even existed. He eventually stopped since he couldn't get her attention. 

But little did he know, Jin was dying to talk to him, to explain himself to her, but her pride didn't let her talk first. The war between them started. On Jin's team were everyone except Hawn, Haneul, Iseul and a little bit of Kyungsoo. On Jongin's team were Iseul and again a little bit of Kyungsoo.

Hwan and Haneul were on no one's side, but if the had to chose of course they would protect their little devil Iseul. Same as the guys on Jin's team. 

At home they received a call from their agency. For a mission of course, but a mission that only included Chen, Kris and Chanyeol. At noon they prepared their luggage, and tomorrow they would leave. This mission was more like a trip, a dangerous trip to find the drug dealers from yesterday's mission.

Like them, the team that was send to find the dealers failed too, so that's why S.M was sending the more knowledgeable group. But only half of it. 

It was night again and time for a sleepover. Everyone was sleeping downstairs, but Jin, in her room. She's been sleeping there since the first time she felt jealous over Iseul. At almost midnight she still couldn't fell asleep as she was thinking about stuff. Like about her's and Jongin's break up and Chen's, Kris's and Chanyeol's leaving tomorrow.

Jin stood up and went to the kitchen to get some water. She was still unaware of where she was going, until she saw the lights in the kitchen. Was someone else awake too? Jin thought and she entered the kitchen. 

That's when she saw it was no other than her best buddy Chen and the puppies. She let out a little sigh as she smiled. Chen brought his attention to her and smiled even though he was about to wet his pants.

"Do we always have to meet up like this?" Chen asked. Jin only eye-smiled at him and bent down to play with the puppies too. "You know we have to tell the others about these cuties too?" "Well, Luhan and Kyungsoo already know. So you tell the others." 

After a short silence, Jin spoke up. "I'm gonna miss you." Chen looked up at her. "And the boys....." She said in a sad tone. "But why? Well be back in a week." Chen said trying to cheer her up. "And that's not long at all." She said in sarcasm. 

"It will pass quickly, if you don't think about it." He said again. "How can I not think about you guys?" Jin pouted. Chen smiled and then said. "What happend between you and Jongin, Jin-ah?" She looked at him in a surprise then frowned. "I don't want to talk about it." Chen smiled and nodded. "Okay, then."

"Well, I guess i should go back to bed, make sure you put the puppies back in my room. OK?" Jin said. "Yeah." Chen responded. She stood up and hugged him. Chen smiled into the hug. "Good night, oppa." Jin said to him and left the kitchen. 

But little did they know, Jongin woke up at the same time as Chen. And now it was his turn to feel jealous of his hyung.
