Chapter 13

Shawn p.o.v.

We are finally home and I was able to dress into my normal clothes. I asked Tay why he gave me his clothes and he said it would help from people getting to close to me.

Its weird ever since that night at the woods people have been looking at me differently. They try to be nice to me and give me things. Some even try to get physical with me. Some girls caress my arm and some guys like that Alex Lee guy grab my bottom. Even in class everybody wants to be my partner.

I thought it was because they found out I was a white wolf. The only problem with that idea is only the high rank membersof the pack know about it. Plus humans have been acting like that too. There was even a few teachers who were acting strangely with me.

Now I am in the basement living room with Cam, Tay, my parents, the alpha, and Luna.

My parents are standing in front of me and after a long time of waiting my mom says, "Shawn we have no idea how to tell you this. We have had 17 years to prepare but we still have no idea how to tell you."

"Just tell me mommy. I won't get mad at you," I tell her.

My dad sigh, "Shawn you know why we left Canada right?"

"Yeah there was a fire and it destroyed most of the pack. Right?"

"Not exactly honey," my mom says.

"What do you mean," Cam asked.

"There was a fire but not of our pack but our house. Shawn we faked our death by burning our house and pretending we were in there," my mom says.

"What? Why?," I ask.

"Because I was the alpha and your mother was the Luna of the pack," my dad explains.

"Wait are you saying that Shawn is a future alpha," Tay says.

"Not exactly. Since he was a born an omega he isn't an alpha but he has the genetics the of one His sister is an alpha. That is why she is at boarding school. She hates authority and likes to make rules not follow them like any alpha. We knew she would have trouble following rules so we send her to a boarding school."

"Wait what does this have anything with you burning our house and us leaving," I ask.

My mom walks infront of me, sits on the coffee table and holds my hand. She then says,

"Ok. So Shawn you know how you being an omega means you can have children." I nod my yes. "Well even though you are an omega your children will be alphas. Well if people were to find out they might try to take advantage of you. Like a male alpha might force you to mate with him just to have really powerful children and not even love you.

We didn't want you to go through that and since people didn't even know I was pregnant it was easy to keep you a secret. We burned our house and had our beta help us fake our death. Then we ran away to the united states and found this pack that didn't have an omega."

I gaped at what she just told me. I am the son of an alpha and people might just want me for my genes. I feel more like a trophy then a person with me having the alpha gene and being a white wolf it is too much.

"There is more," my dad says. "What more is there," Cam says.

"Shawn you were born with the blessing of Aphrodite."

"Yeah I know because I am white wolf."

"No, there is difference between you being a white wolf and having a blessing of an anicent god. You have new powers that werewolves don't have. You may have noticed a few."

"Like what," I ask.

"All the men and women falling for you," the Luna says.

"Wait mom you knew," Tay says.

Her and alpha shake their heads. So thats why people have been acting this way. The Aphrodite blessing is making them like me.

"Also the werewolf you killed," the alpha says.

"You mean the one that tried to jump me," I ask.

"Yes. The elders were able to check his last minutes memories to find out what happened. The rogue felt so many different strong emotions at that moment that his body couldn't take it and died."

I can't believe this. I have powers that can apparently kill people and can make anybody fall for me.

"Can I go to my room I want to be alone to process this," I ask.

They nod their head and I walk to my room. I don't even know what to think. I feel honored but also I also feel angry and used.

Tay knocks on the door then opens it slowly. "You want to talk about it angel." I love how he calls me angel. He has been really sweet and kind to me lately. That is when I remember he started acting nice after my powers started to show. He is an alpha so he may be able to resist some but not all of my power.

He isn't falling for me. He is falling for my power. "No Tay I'm fine." "C'mon Shawn talk to me." "No Tay get out," I snap at him.

"Why are you mad at me," he ask angrily.

"Because Tay I want you to leave me alone. I don't want you."

"That is not what your wolf says." he says with a smirk.

"Get yourself and your arrogance out of my room," I yell.

"Oh my God Shawn stop moping around. So what you are desired by all. You should love all this attention you could have anybody you want. Beside all I am doing is trying to be nice."

"You're only being nice because your mated to me and your wolf is making you.

"Yeah because if it was up to me I wouldn't even talk to a useless bitch like you," he says.

I feel my eyes start to sting. I turn around trying to hold back my tears.

I feel Tay hold my shoulder and say, "Shawn I'm sorry I didn't me--"

"No Tay it's true. Our wolves are confusing us so lets stay apart and leave me alone. Please.," I whisper the last part.

Tay pulls his hand back leaves the room. I fall to my knees and start to silently cry. I can't do this it's too much. I stand up grab my suitcase and start to fill it with my stuff. I can't do this.

I hear a knock and I say, "don't come in." The person walks in anyways. "The carriage is ready," Cam says.

"What do you mean," I ask.

"Shawn I know you better than anybody. I know that you were going to runaway. And instead of arguing with you and having you leave in the middle of the night I am coming with you."

"Cam I can't ask you to do that. Your life is here in Lonecrest."

"No Shawn my place is to protect you. I want to go. Do you even know where your going?"

I shake my head no. "Okay c'mon lets go and get your guitar." I grab my guitar and look at my room one more time before I leave to who knows where.
