{ part 17 }

I was headed to a near by lake where mikey had told me to come, the weather was beautiful today not so hot or so cold either, perfect weather for a walk or in this case the lake.

The afternoon air always smells nice after a long day of work or a stressful day, just so relaxing. The sky was at its bluest with fluffy cotton candy like clouds scattered across the sky. The sky will soon get a nice pink colour telling me that it's at least 6 or 7 o'clock

Right now it was 4 o'clock I don't plan to stay there for that long though, we'll see.

The walk to the lake wasn't so long, I've been their a couple of times with hina and takamichi mostly hina and Emma nowadays. I was nearing the lake when I saw someone leaning on their bike.

Mikey. . .

I walked a little faster towards the blonde boy when he finally noticed. " Y/N - chin!" He says with an closed eye smile tilting his head just a little.

I walk a little faster and finally reach up to mikey. " here" he says gesturing me to put both of my hands out. I do so and he places a doyayaki In my hands. " your welcome" he smiles again warmly, my heart. . . . . . . . .  What am I feeling??

My stomach has butterflies?🦋 this feeling it's warm and fluffy not that bad but, the bad thing is IT'S TOWARDS MIKEY AND I DON'T KNOW WHY!!

" thank you mikey" I say smiling back as I take a sit on the swaying green grass. He sits besides me and lays down putting both of his arms behind his head and he looks at the sky.

" pretty day isn't it" Mikey says as he closes his eyes and smiles just a little. " yep" I replied as I look at the glittery blue water as the current slowly moves along the lake.

Mikey's POV

Not as pretty as you though, I'm finally alone just with you once again. How I wanted to spend time with you Y/N your the first girl I've actually felt something for, your not like other girls.

Other girls stay with me for my power or the way I look, and the fact that I'm a leader of a powerful gang.

Y/N I hope you feel the same way, your the first and probably the only girl I'd ever like. I open one of my eyes and took a peek at Y/N I saw how she was so relaxed and calm, seeing her hair fly freely in the warm wind made her look even prettier✨

She tilts her head to look up at the sunny, blue sky, I see her (e/c) eyes shine and glimmer in the suns light, she's just perfection.

I don't know if I should confess? I mean what if she's not into me? And what if our friendship is broken?! No I can't confess!!

Well, maybe not right now.

Y/N POV

I decided that I should lay down too, the weather was making me sleepy, so I lay down next to the blonde one, just a few inches away. I opened up the doyayaki that mikey gave me and I started munching on it, it's delicious as always. The evening was perfect.

I took a little glance at mikey and he had fallen asleep his calm sleepy impression made me smile just a little. He looks . . . . . . . . So . . . . . . Cute I thought, even if I hated admitting it, I couldn't hide this fact anymore.

I've known mikey for a long time now and I think I have to finally admit that he is just a little cute.

I finished up the last bite of my doyadaki and decided that I was also going to sleep for just a little bit, I look up at the sky again and close my eyes already drifting off the sleep but when I opened them again the sky was dark filled with stars and this time it wasn't the blazing, bright sun instead the cooling and shining moon.

What's the time!!? And what's on me? I get up and see mikey's jacket on me, I took out my phone and saw that it was 10 o'clock!! I SLEPT FOR SEVEN HOURS!!

" oh Y/N your finally awake" mikey smiles. " why didn't you wake me up?" I look at him as he answers. " because you looked so peaceful while sleeping I didn't want to disturb you" he explains looking at the dark lake but it was still glittery because of the moon.

The night looks so pretty It doesn't hurt if a stay just a little longer right? My brother won't worry either he knows I'm capable of shit

" aren't you cold mikey?" I question him since he was just wearing his short sleeve white t shirt and decided to give me his jacket. " are you sure you don't need your jacket" I hold it up for him to grab but he didn't. " it's fine, I'm not cold" he answers but I could clearly see that he was, he was wrapping himself with his two arms.

Why do you have to be so nice mikey when you clearly are cold, I scoffed just a little at him and moved a little closer to him.

I feel a bit weird doing this but it felt right, i put one end of the jacket on his opposing shoulder and the other one mine, we both had the jacket covering us. I'm so smart 😎🧠

I look up at mikey's face which was red afff, what happened to him? Anyway the good thing is that where both warm now so he doesn't need to show off anymore.

He then put his arm around my shoulders under the jacket which was un expected but I just let him, I felt so safe and warm with his touch, I don't know why!?

Why do I feel this way?!!!

We stayed like that for atlesst 20 minutes when I decided I should really go home now

" I think it's time for me to go home" I stood up and gave mikey his jacket after I thanked him. " I can drop you off" Mikey says, I loved the idea but my brother was at home so a decline his offer.

" be safe then Y/N also take my jacket with you it's cold" he gave me his jacket, but if hariko saw he would freak so I declined that too.

" okay well be safe then Y/N, even if you are pretty strong" he says as he  waved good bye to me, I returned his good bye and started walking now looking at the dark sky above me.

But I got to admit that was a pretty nice nap, I haven't had those in a while, I guess mikey some how came up with an good idea to relax me from my deep thinking for the last few days.

Bonus scene

Mikey and baji's little chat

" what are you Doing mikey!?" Baji says as he was being dragged away by mikey, mikey saw how far away he was from Y/N so he let go of his Friends hand. " what's your problem mik- baji cut himself off as he saw his friends face.

Completely emotionless, his eyes as dark as ever. Baji stopped talking knowing his friend was in a bad mood.

And when that happens, which is quite rare to be honest things break.

" I like Y/N so stay away from her, I'd hate a girl getting in between our friendship" mikey finally spoke to the confused black haired boy.

" You never tolled me you liked her, so I made my move okay" Baji explains. " well now you know" mikey pat baji's shoulder and walks towards Y/N.
