From Irene's Point View.

After what happened yesterday, I think I wouldn't be able to do a lot of things today, So I took a half-day. Ate Imee suggests that we should live on the same roof with them so they could at least protect us, but I told them 'twas okay with me, I know, Greg. He'll still choose to do scandalous things just to get what he wants and I won't let that happen.

I took a shower and wore my pencil skirt and my polo with black suits, I heard a loud knock on my door, "Mummy, we'll eat na! I and Nanay Lucille cook our breakfast." I heard my miggy.

I didn't get the chance to check him up yesterday since I got so tied up, I tuck little strands of my hair and wear my necklace for final touches, "Coming!" I shouted back.

I finally took my seat while Miggy was on my side, I always got mesmerized by his side view, I caresses his face and gave him kisses.

"Ugh, mom there was lipstick on my face na po." He retorted, while I wipe lipstick on his face we're giggling.

"Sorry baby! Anyway, how's school? Did you get good stars? How about your homework, finished already?" I asked.

He nods "Yes mommy! Teacher Marie told me that I'm exceeding greatly in class!"

My eyes increased and gave him another kiss and cuddle, "Wow, that's great! Anak, I'm proud of you."

He kissed my cheeks, "Thank you, mommy. Uhm where did you go last night po pala, you look wasted po eh."

"I saw Nanay and auntie Imee changing your clothes that's why I didn't bother to ask but aunt Imee checked me out." He smiles while chewing his food.

Nakita niya pala iyon...

"U-uhm we just had a few drinks, oh, you're late na go finish your food." I shift our topic. "Eh aunt Imee doesn't seem to be drunk naman po, are you okay po? You told me, mommy, no secrets po 'di ba?"

"Yup, don't worry if mommy's not fine, I'll tell you right away, mkay? But I assure you, anak. Mommy's fine just got tired of work and we have no secrets of course!" I laughed weirdly.

He looks at me with his pessimist look, "Okay? Mommy! I'm done eating, bye, good luck with your work!" he said and kissed me on my forehead.

When I heard he already left my smile fades away, "Come on, Irene! Get yourself together!" I told myself, I don't want Greg to see me like this, Surely, he'll use this behavior against me so I'll have to go to get back on myself.

I'm here at the building, hearing the employee's conversation but I keep ignoring those gossip.

"Good Morning, Ma'am. You have an eleven a.m virtual meeting with the stock market holders they weren't able to face you Ma'am at three p.m you have rounds with Mr. Legazpi..."

"And Mr. Gonzaga sent an appointment with you, Ma'am he checked your schedule—"

I slash her off, "He what? Why did you authorize him to do that?" I scowled. "We didn't allow him to do that, Ma'am but Mr. Romero told us it'll benefit our company to have a good association with their company..." She blabbered.

I massaged my head, I felt like puking. "Next time you have to inform me about these things, understood?" I rebuked.

She nodded, "What is this appointment about? Did he tell you?" I implored.

She promptly shook her head, "He didn't tell us anything, Ma'am... But we were speculating that he'll take you on a date, he reserved on a five-star resto, Ma'am!" She giggles while poking fun at me.
