Chapter 3 - Oh no, our step bro, it's broken

Thoma POV

Me and Ayato have just told his parents about us... and they think its... lovely?

I honestly didn't expect that, but I find it relieving at the least. 

Wait... but what about Ayaka... what would she say. I don't have to wonder for long though.

Ayato and I step into the family room and she peers from behind the wall, "Why didn't you tell me?!?!" she practically screams.

She starts squealing and jumping up and down. She looks very excited.

"I knew my good for nothing brother would grow up someday!!!!", she says, staring at Ayato with a teasing glance.

Then she turns to me, "So like... have ya'll", she motions puting her finger through a hole made by her other hands finger and thumb, "you know, before." just within earshot of Ayato.

I turn bright red and start shaking my head frantically, Ayato just looks like he's dead inside.

"Jeez I'm kidding, of course my brother wouldn't defile you with his nasty body" She says, laughing her ass off.

I turn and look at Ayato, and he rolls his eyes. I snicker a bit, then he lets out a small giggle. Soon all three of us are laughing so hard tears well at out eyes and our stomachs are sore.

"What's so funny?", Ayaka and Ayato's mother asks, staring at us in amusement. She had just walked into the room, her husband following suit soon after.

"Did you tell Ayaka yet?" He asks, raising his bushy eyebrow.

"Yes father, I know all about it~ " Ayaka says, turning to smirk at me and Ayato.

The three of us start to howl with laughter again, and without even knowing the joke, their mother joins in.

"Ahem" Mr. Kamisato clears his throat, "Me and your mother were wondering, Ayato, would you prefer to share a room with Thoma now? or are you not that serious quite yet..."

I look at Ayato, secretly praying that he will say yes.

He looks back at me with a questioning glance, I nod my head, hoping he will get the hint.

"We'd love to share a room."

I feel myself turn a red tint. This is really happening... just wait till I tell Kaeya and Childe... they won't believe it.

"You will share the east room, with the sakura painted screen and view of the old maple." 

"No fair!!!!" Ayaka says, completely joking, "they get a room with it's own bath!, I still have to use the one off the main courtyard!"

"Sometimes couples do things and wish to clean up in private" Mrs. Kamisato says, "You will understand when you are older."

Ayaka's fourteen year old self can't believe her mother just said that.

I stare at Ayato and blink a few times with a straight face that speaks embarrassment.

He proceeds to turn to his mother and say, "Mother... perhaps let's not have this sort of conversation..." He looks bright red and awkward.

"Oh young lovers, so embarrassed by natural acts." His mother says, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

"You guys should move your things to the new room." Mr. Kamisato says just before he walks the opposite way he came in, retiring to his study.
