The next day, he arrived at Jackson's home early in the morning. He still couldn't believe that he made his assistant work like a personal slave, as he headed toward the dressing room, selecting a suit. He did a quick scroll through the cupboards and looked at the display case that housed all his watches. What a douchey thing to have, Raymond thought derisively, selecting a watch and leaving everything out for Jackson, while returning to the kitchen to wait for him.
He smiled at the housekeeper, watching as she prepared breakfast, quietly humming to herself. She left the room as soon as everything was set on the table. Soon Jackson arrived, suspiciously looking at Raymond who had his usual bright smile.
"Good morning Mr. Dealer." he said with a slight bow of his head. Jackson ignored him, sitting down at the table. While Jackson was eating, he gave him a run through of his day ahead. Once he was done, he left and quickly returned with a tie for Jackson, who seemed to expect that his assistant do everything for him. Raymond was surprised that he wasn't asked to wipe his ass.
Once he'd finished eating, he got up and waited expectantly. Raymond immediately moved toward him to tie his tie, still keeping a pleasant smile on his face. He stepped back, moving toward the door where the driver was waiting for them. Opening the door for him, Raymond got into the car, next to the driver. The minute they arrived at the office, he jumped out, holding the door open for Jackson, following him to his office like a shadow.
For the rest of the week, it seemed as if Jackson was still testing him, making a point of trying to find fault. Raymond made sure that he had nothing to complain about, keeping one step ahead of Jackson, anticipating his ridiculous demands.
By Friday afternoon, he was sure that Jackson had given up on trying to catch him out, when the intercom sounded, Raymond immediately jumped up, tablet in hand, waiting for Jackson to speak.
"I'm going to need you to work this weekend," he snapped waiting for Raymond to come up with some sort of excuse to get out of working over weekends.
'Of course sir." He kept his bright smile, knowing that Jackson was testing him again. Seriously, though? The weekend?
Jackson looked at him in surprise. This was the first time that one of his assistants had made it this far, without screwing up. He couldn't believe that this kid was competent enough to do everything without a hitch or complaint.

On Monday morning, Raymond went through his usual routine with Jackson. By now he was ready to throw a brick at him. For most of the weekend Jackson had him rearrange his library, drive him around and generally doing things that a butler could have done just as well.
Jackson was slightly baffled by Raymond and the fact that he seemed to anticipate everything that he wanted, no matter how unreasonable. He didn't think that a high school kid would be this good at his job, but this just proved him wrong.
"Get me the reports for each department, now!" he snapped over the intercom.
Minutes later, Raymond entered his office, with the files in hand, placing them on Jackson's desk. He stood waiting with his usual smile as Jackson looked over the documents in surprise. He frowned at Raymond, not being able to find fault with anything.
So far he'd been able to keep up with Jackson, but even his patience was wearing thin. Of all the jobs he's done for Damon, this was by far the worst. He didn't know whether he was going to be able to keep it up for six months without committing a murder. The fact that Jackson referred to him as You was by far the worst. But he had to keep going, if he was to get want he wanted. He'd already spent some time to scour through every corner of the company. It helped that he was Jackson's assistant, so no questions were raised as he sifted through all the information.
