y/n's pov
we stared at each other. none of us taking our hands off each other.
"HEY YOU TWO KIDS IN THE BACK! ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO GET OFF OR NOT?!" the bus driver yelled at us and i quickly took my hand off his and i grabbed my bag and ran out of the bus. geez i am never seeing his face ever again. i walked to my locker to see the popular girls. mina, jihan, and wendy.
"hey y/n!" mina leaned against the locker next to mine.
"what do you want?" i said grabbing my textbooks out of my locker.
"you got prettier over the break i see." wendy played with my hair.
"dont touch me." i said slamming my locker door shut and walking away to the classroom.
"y/n! wait up bestie!" jihan said and they were running after me trying not to loose a heel.
"im not joining your squad. and im not your friend." i said and entered the classroom.
"Y/NNIEEE!!" my best friend chaewon ran up to me and took my hand to sit down.
"hey! sorry i couldnt call you on my trip there was no internet i dont know how i survived there."
"how was your vacation?" she asked me.
"eh it was alright i read new books, umm i watched new kdramas." i tried to remember what i did.
"oh and. my mom and jungwon's mom are friends so theyre coming over later to celebrate our birthday." i said and the teacher walked in. and everyone took their seats.
"welcome back everyone! i see today is yang jungwon and park y/n's birthday today. happy birthday to you guys i wonder what gifts you will get." the teacher said and me and jungwon locked eyes and help up a 'fighting' sign.
"okay so open up to page 127 in your english book."

<TIME SKIP>

*ring ring ring*
i stretched my arms as i grabbed my books to leave.
"y/n!!" jihan said to me linking arms with me.
"sit with us at lunch!" mina said coming in and walked out of the classroom.
"dont touch me." i said and yanked my arms out of theirs causing my books to fall on the ground.
"bitch you dont fucking talk to me like that. you got it." mina grabbed my collar and i shut my eyes as she held her hand up to slap me.
"dont touch her." chaewon glared at them while holding mina's hand up.
"chaewon-ssi. sorry we didnt mean anything." jihan apologized and they ran off.
"chaewon i wouldve handled it myself." i got up and dusted my uniform. and then i looked my my phone to check the time. oh shit.
"DAMNIT! chaewon thanks i got to go can we reschedule the sleepover to tomorrow maybe?" i took my bag from her hands and ran off to go back home.
<RING RING RING>
"ah hello unnie?" i said walking down the stairs to the exit.
"im outside with hoonie."
<END OF CALL>
"y/n! wait!" jungwon was running towards me with his phone to his ear.
"do you think you can give me a ride to your house?" jungwon asked putting his phone down.
"yeah come in." i moved over and jungwon got into the car.
"oh jungwon! happy birthday." yeji said awkwardly to avoid the silence. finally when we got to the house the parents were outside.
"hello y/n!" jungwon's mom greeted me and gave me a hug.
"how are you doing aunty?" i asked her.
"ive been good. maeumi is inside." i nodded and walked into the house having jungwon and sunghoon follow me.
"UMI!!" i ran to hug maeum.
"Y/N! how have you been?"
"ive got a lot to catch you up on."
"ah hoonie. maeum and i will talk DO NOT go into my room."
"us too." sunghoon said. and i grabbed maeum's hand and dragged her to my room.
"so basically." we talked for hours and then when our parents got back home we decided to go ice skating at the rink with sunghoon before we cut the cake.

jungwon's pov:
in the car ride back to y/n's house it was dead silent. i was looking out the window until i felt something on my shoulder. i turned to see y/n sleeping on my shoulder. i smiled and leaned my head against hers and fell asleep.

yeji's pov:
i pulled into the driveway and i woke sunghoon up.
"wake up lets get them inside." sunghoon nodded and we turned to the 3 kids behind us.
"aww look at jungwon and y/n" sunghoon said and took a picture of them.
"hoon the flash. whatever lets wake them up."
"maeum wake up" sunghoon shook maeum and she woke up.
"are we here?" sunghoon nodded.
"y-y/n wake up." maeum said with a grin.
"mm 5 more minutes." she hugged jungwon.
"no now bitch." i pulled her off jungwon and y/n was startled to see that she was hugging jungwon.
"OPEN THE GODDAMN DOOR." y/n said and i opened it and she ran out the car and into the house.

y/n's pov:
i ran into the house and.
"SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY- UH Y/N!" i bowed as a thank you and jungwon walked into the house rubbing his eyes. aw he looks so cute.
"SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNGWON!" yeji tapped us and made us float.
"UNNIE!" i grabbed onto jungwons hand and lead him to the table.
"release." and me and jungwon stopped floating and sat in our seats.
"lets sing happy birthday and we will see your gift!"
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR Y/N AND JUNGWON! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!" we closed our eyes and blew out the cake and suddenly. our gift came. we both had a rainbow over our heads.
"what kind of gift was this?" i asked yeji who was studying about the gifts. everyone just stood there frozen. even jungwon.
"hello? unnie?" i waved my hand in her face.
"y-y-you both got mood- effects the weather.." cool. i wasnt thinking and hugged jungwon.
