Ansel's POV

I am currently on my way to my 'The Dubois', my building. I own a number of nightclubs and hotel businesses. I'm really accomplished and proud of where I've gotten to. Feeling a ping in my right pocket, I fish out my phone, and see its my brother, Adonis calling. Not wanting to deal with his bullshit, I hesitate to answer. Finally sucking it up, I answer his call.

"Brother! Isn't it a lovely day outside?" His voice squeaked.

"Adonis, what do you want?" I stated that I did not want to play games.

"Well, Ansel, I was just thinking. I adore you! As your brother it is my job to tell you that I love you." He shrieked.

"Just say what you want; you only say you love me when you want something done for you." I remarked.

"Since you've asked, I'll need you to drive Cher to her doctor's appointment. Before you say no brother, keep in mind that no one is accessible. You also need to spend some time with your niece!" He stated his case.

Cher is Adonis's child. Her red hair is naturally long, and her eyes are light brown, shining through her pale skin. Given that we Dubois' have black hair, I'm not sure where she got her red hair. But genetics works in strange ways. She is my niece, and she is three years old. Due to my recent buys schedule, I haven't seen her in a long time. After her checkup, I'd like to take her out to do something. I do miss her, so I agree to taking her.

"Alright, brother, I'll take her to her appointment and keep her for the rest of the day." I say.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, brother!" He screams.

"You can just pick her up here because I'm at your office. Goodbye!" He hangs up, quickly.

That little fucker. He was well aware that I would agree to take Cher. He's most likely causing havoc in my office. Just wait until I get my hands on that fool.

My driver approaches my building. I thank him and enter the building with vigor. The receptionists greets me with a nod of his head. I return the nod and proceed to my private elevator. I select the highest option and wait. I hear a beep and exit the elevator when it stops moving. I'm walking towards my office when I hear two voices, one soft and the other rough.

When I open the floor, two small feet spring in my direction. Cher yells, "UNCLE ANNY" as she wraps her small arms around my leg. I lift her up and place her on my hip, wasting no time.

As much as I hated that nickname she called me, it brought warmth to my heart. I guess I just now realized how much I missed her. She would be the only one to call me this, though. If it was anyone else, well I won't go into detail.

"Hello, princess! It appears like someone was looking forward to see me." I say.

"Yes, Uncle Anny! It's been a long time," she yells.

"It most certainly has! It's a good thing I'm here to drive you to your appointment and keep you for the reminder of the day! How does that sound?" I ask her.

"I love that! Anny, lets go!" She exclaims ecstatically.

"Say bye to your dad, princess," I tell her.
