EMORY'S POV

Its Saturday, which means it's time for dinner with Ansel's' family. I'm not sure how I feel. Yes, I'm ecstatic, but I'm also anxious. I wasn't sure if they'd like me or not. What if they didn't like me, and Ansel wouldn't like me either? The opinions of one's family are quite important. I only hope that wasn't the case, because I really liked Ansel. I shove that thought out of my head and walk towards the shower.

I invited Cora to come over today. She'd help me with my outfit and give me courage. Chloe was staying at her boss's place. Given that she stayed the night, I'm thinking everything had went well. Ava is probably out with her secret boyfriend that I'm not aware of.

In case Cora came, I left the door unlocked.

I changed into a towel and went to my room after getting out of the shower. Cora was laying on my bed, scrolling through her phone. I yelled out in shock.

Was this girl trying to kill me?

She'd been as quiet as a mouse the entire time I was in the shower. She laughs as she gets out of my bed.

"I'd hug you, but you're still dripping wet, so lets get you clothed." She says this while grabbing my outfit off my bed. When I was in the shower, I'm assuming she had already gotten my outfit out.

It was a white jumpsuit that showed a bit of my curves while still being family friendly. The bottom was flowy and wide, which I was thankful for because I didn't want the bottoms to stick to my legs. I wore it with a pair of red bottom heels. I looked expensive and well-dressed.

Walking to my shelf, I grab deodorant and jewelry putting them both on. I grabbed some perfume and sprayed a few sprays, not wanting to overdo it. I pulled my hair back into a sleek ponytail and opted to go natural today, with the exception of some lip gloss.

Hearing a knock at the front door, I grabbed my purse and walked towards Cora. I gave Cora a kiss on the cheek, laughing when the gloss stuck on her cheek. She wiped it off and gave me a hug, wishing that it goes well. I nodded and pulled back.

As I approached the door, I opened it to find Ansel. When he walked past me and into my apartment, I caught a whiff of his cologne. He smelt devine. It wasn't too overpowering; it was just right. The scent suited him.

He looked amazing in his suit. Ansel knew how to dress. His suit compressed his muscles and torso, complimenting his figure. His pants wrapped around his muscular thighs. The belt around his waist piqued my interest. I imagined the belt being tied around-

Enough, Emory.

I gulped and cleared my throat, looking up at Ansel.

ANSEL'S POV

"You look lovely." I say this while grasping her hand, twirling her around. I let out a loud groan. "I'd rip this off of you if we didn't have to leave," I add, watching her eyes widen.

"We can be late," she says confidently, a smirk on her face.

I love this side of her.

Even though the offer was tempting, I didn't want her first impression with my family is being late or looking flushed.

"Oh, so how bad I want to corrupt you, ruin you. But you're not ready for that." As much as I want her beneath me, writhing, begging me to stop. There is a time and a place for all that, which now is not the time nor place.
