After school I went straight to Justin's house. I need to talk to him about what happened. I can't just keep letting Selena ruin my chances of being Justin's friend. And I guess I have to go talk to Gracie & Aleesha and say sorry. I don't see how what happened between us is MY fault, but it's not worth losing them.
*Kae arrives at Justin's house, and through the window sees Justin and Selena sitting on the couch*
*Justin gets the door*
Justin: "Hey, Kae! How are you!"
Kae: "I'm good thanks ..I um wanted to tell you something..."
*Selena gets up and walks behind Justin*
Justin: "Oh , alright...let's go outside so we can talk in private"
Kae: "Okay"
*Selena stays inside, Justin closes the door*
Kae: "So um, today before I went to school..."
Justin: "Selena came to your house and told you to stop hanging out with me?"
Kae: "Yes! Exactly! Wait, how did you know?"
Justin: "I had a feeling. Because you didn't text or call me like you said you would!"
Kae: "Oh, right..sorry"
Justin:" It's fine...and she also told me lol ...and trust me..you can keep hanging out with me , don't let her stop you..your a really nice girl and I love hanging out with you!"
Kae: "Aww, thanks Justin :) Well I have to go, see you tomorrow !"
*Justin goes inside, shuts the door, and Kae walks home*
*Later that day....Kae's dad was finally home, but her mother wasn't*
Dad: "So, he told you he loves hanging out with you?"
Kae: "Yep :) we hung out three times before"
Dad: "And Selena isn't getting angry?"
Kae: "Lol, no she is...but I don't care"
*There's a knock on the door*
Kae: "Who could that be...it's 7:00 on a Monday lol..."
Pattie was at the door: "Hey, are you kae? Is your mom home?"
Kae: "No, sorry..and yes I am(: I think she's working late tonight"
Pattie: "No..we had off today..and Hey! Justin has told me lots about you :)"
Kae: "Aww thats so sweet ahaha ! and you two work together?"
Pattie: "Yes, we both work at the supermarket downtown, it was closed today.."
Kae: "Oh, my bad...I don't know where she is, but I'll have her call you when she gets home :)"
Pattie: "Thank you, have a nice night!"
Kae: "You too!"
*Kae shuts the door*
Hmm, he has told his mother lots about me :') maybe he likes me!
*For the next couple days, Justin & Kae had been hanging out. At his house, at her house, even at the park. And Selena didn't do anything about it. But Kae still had to make things right with her friends from Texas.*
*Kae calls her friend Gracie, there was no answer...so she left a message*
Kae: "Hey..um..I know you don't really want to talk to me right now, but I swear I didn't call you to talk about Justin..anyways I miss you & Hopefully you forgive me and we can start talking again..I'm sorry gracie.."
I think that's good. I really hope she forgives me. The last time I talked to Karla was Saturday, and it's already Friday! Halloween is Sunday night, and I have off Monday!
*Kae gets a call from Justin*
Kae: "Hey Justin"
Justin: "Heyyyy! On sunday night I'm having a halloween party, and I'm inviting all my friends & some of my family..Selena is going too... Wanna come?"
Kae: "Yes, i would love that! when does it start?"
Justin: "It starts at 7, ends at midnight ;)"
Kae: "Okay, I'll be there! thanks for the call"
Justin: "No problem, don't forget to wear your costume!"
*Kae hangs up the call, just as her mom gets home*
Kae: "Hey mom, Can I go to a party this sunday?"
Mom:" No, haven't we already gone over this? your not going out on school nights later than 7"
Kae: "UGGHHH, mom! I have off on Monday...PLEASE"
Mom: "Fine, you can go. Anything else you want to do, go right ahead and do it. I don't care. I wanted to have our movie night on Sunday, but I guess me and Max will do it. You just don't seem to be interested in your family"
Kae:" Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know! Can we do it tomorrow night?"
Mom: "Fine."
