As soon as I got home I made myself a snack & did my homework. I was just about to start my italian homework when someone called my phone. I thought it was Karla or Gracie, so I let it go. But it wasn't, it was Justin. He called and left a voicemail.
Justin: "Hey.. just wanted to let you know, I know every time someone is mean to you, I do nothing & your always so upset. Well that's not going to happen anymore, okay? My ex & my best friend & my cousin are all mean to you..I can't do anything about that I'm sorry. Well, see you tomorrow"
Okay I'm getting annoyed. My mom isn't home, and it's already 7 oclock. I'm just going to finish my italian homework, and go to sleep.
*The next day, Friday*
*Mom wakes Kae up*
Mom: "I have to go to work, but come home right after school today..your father & I have something to tell you"
Kae: "Alright, Alright.. but I'm going on a date with Justin so please make it quick. He's picking me up at 7."
Mom:" Okay, just don't forget..leaving now..bye honey love you"
Kae: "love you toooo..."
Technically I'm not supposed to be awake until half an hour from now, but I need the extra time so why not..
*Someone knocks on the door*
Seriously! Every time someone wants to come over it's right in the morning!
*Kae fixes her hair, and answers the door*
Justin: "Hey babe"
*Justin kisses Kae*
Kae: "Hey, I got your message.."
Justin: "Good..can I walk to school with you?"
Kae: "Sure, but I still need to get ready"
Justin: "Okay, you get ready and I'll make breakfast"
*Kae smiles, and walks into her room to get ready.*
Ahhh, he's so sweet. Today I'm going to wear skinny jeans, converse, and my bow shirt. I'll pin my hair back with a bobby pin, put on some eyeliner & mascara, and I'm good to go. Alright, time to go back to the kitchen
Justin: "You look beautiful today. Here are your pancakes haha"
Kae: "Aw thanks..and yum, they're so good"
*Justin & Kae eat breakfast, and get ready to go*
Kae: "Um, today after school my parents want me home to tell me something.."
Justin: "Okay, then call me whenever your ready and I'll pick you up for our date"
Kae: "justin, your so nice. I love you so much"
Justin: "I love you too, are you ready?"
Kae: "Yep, let's go."
*They walk out the door, and Justin holds Kae's hand the whole way*
Kae whispers: "Oh, look...there's Kent & Karla...."
Justin: "And look, now they're kissing."
*Justin & Kae starting laughing*
*When they got to school, Justin hugged Kae and they both went to they're classes. Someone in homeroom said Hi to Kae, and asked for her number. Her name was Elizabeth*
So I'm in World History now, and I;m really bored. Justin is sitting behind me, falling asleep lol. Today was boring, except when people made fun of me, and Justin defended me. Now I know I can trust him. Selena ignored me & so did karla. Whatever, not like I actually care.
When school ended, I went to Max's pre-school to pick him up. We walked home together and Max told me about his day, holding my hand the whole way home
Max: "Kae, do mommy and daddy still love us"
*Kae stopped walking, and bent down to Max's face*
Kae: "yes, they do..they just have to work late and it's nothing to worry about..I promise, they will always love us"
*Kae picked Max up, and carried him home*
*When they got home, they're parents were sitting on the couch*
Mom (looked like she was upset): "We have something to tell you"
Dad: "It's very hard to say, and it will effect the way we live"
Kae: "What's going on.."
Mom: "Your father & I are getting divorced"
My heart stopped. Like it did when I found out Justin was in my class. I know I'm a teenager now, but it was pretty upsetting finding out your parents were getting divorced after 18 years.
*Max starts crying, and goes into his room*
Mom: "Honey, I'm sorry..I'll tell you this now.."
Dad: "I'm staying here, and you guys are moving back to Texas"
Kae: " MOM! DAD! NO. I love it here! I miss texas but I don't EVER want to leave!"
Mom: "Next year, were moving back."
Kae: "No, no. This, this can't be happening...NO"
*Kae goes to her room, and slams the door*
Dad: "Well, you go talk to her, I'll talk to Max."
