As the months went by, Daisy found it becoming harder and harder to cover up the bruises, cuts and scars that Flynn was leaving on her skin. But still, she always found new ways to do so.

It was summer by then, and Daisy found herself running out of excuses as to why she was wearing long sleeved shirts and cardigans. The sun shone down brightly on the park and Daisy slowly made her way through it and to the part of it where she was meant to meet Flynn.

That park happened to be the place where all the kids at her school would hang out after school and she even spotted her sister Violet sitting on a bench with a boy she assumed was her boyfriend. She shot Violet a small smile and Violet gave her one in return.

When Daisy was about halfway towards her destination she saw something which made her feel like all the air had left her lungs and caused tears to stream down her cheeks before she even had the chance to try and stop them. On one of the benches was Flynn with a tall brunette sat on his lap as they kissed as if the world was ending.

Daisy brought her hands to her lips as a means to muffle the sound of the sobs that left her mouth. She felt stupid for actually believing that he loved her and she felt stupid for not leaving him. But most of all she felt stupid for actually believing that she was his only.
