Chapter 1: Start Of 5th Year (Niko POV)

 It's the start of 5th year and I'm still the most popular kid in school. It's fun being able to get away with things just because no one believes that you could do anything wrong! Ugh but I have so many classes with Elodie and Aveda. They always annoy me about stupid things like my grades and how I look. But honestly, I could care less what they think, they're just some annoying girls. I usually beat them in any competition anyways. So it's not like anything they say can annoy me too much.

Anyways since it's the end of the school day I went to the Slytherin dorm. Unfortunately Elodie was there talking with Aveda. I tried to walk in without them noticing but of course, Aveda saw me.

"Oh heyyyyy" Aveda said "C'mon, don't try to avoid us!"

Ugh she's so annoying

"Hii!" Elodie waved "We were talking about the new student arriving soon!"

"Yeah, we heard he's super smart. Maybe even smarter than you~!" Aveda added

"Pfft, no way," I said, walking to my room.

There was a new student? How come I didn't hear about this? Who even are they? I hope they aren't in this dorm. There's too many annoying kids in here anyways. I went up to my part of the dorm and just sat there. There was never anything to do here, it's so boring.

I then heard a small little meow from under the bed. A small white fuzzy head popped up from under my bed. It was Cloud! Cloud is my small white cat that nobody really knows about. If I'm being honest, no one really knows much about me. I don't like saying much about me, to keep my image of whatever it is the same. I hate it when people know my secrets, especially Aveda, she uses it as blackmail against me. Anyways, back to my cat. I didn't know why he was under my bed. He isn't even supposed to be here. He got onto my bed and I pet him while finishing my homework. I'm so tired, I might just go to bed.
